All I could hear was her telling me how stiff and tough my body is.. 😂 - and she kept tsktsk tsk me LOL (ok I know it’s in a terrible situation hence I came in to get it relaxed) - and then she proceeded to tell me my face look similar to blackpink Lisa… 😂 (maybe cause light too dim + want me to come back next time.. ok fine) Btw, their Mastercard / visa terminals are not working… so Paylah / Paynow works but it’s subjected to bank’s fx, if not you can fix your tng first~

3. KT tape - to survive for the remaining rehearsals which bless my knee. - get it from big Pharmacy.. it’s cheaper than Watsons. 4. Fufootea - I saw reviews on Google about their Sesame glutinous tea and I had to try it!!! verdict 100/100 if you r a sesame paste lover!! - it’s like 芝麻糊汤圆 made in a drink form… and it’s brilliant because it’s cold, it won’t stain ur mouth / teeth and it’s so good!! (Very filling too) ~sgd$6 - Google reviews also said about their choux, so dabao too 😂 5. Empire Sushi - affordable & yummy, just dabao home Ok home sweet home. Hopefully my knee can be better before D-day in a few days time 🤧😵‍💫

Solo JB: because thou needs to fix some broken body 😂 1. brunch at The starters cafe! - random finds, just wanted somewhere nearby. Saw they carry one of the best sourdoughs so Shakshuka Sourdough + iced black! (~sgd $15) 2. All about chew cookies - hands down best chewy cookies. - just get the mini chewibacca!! (Sgd$8.73 for 12 pieces)

Special reco: I first knew about Dabba Street at Jurong Point, tried their bowls.. it was sooo good, portions are generous and pricing is pretty affordable at the portion they provided. Heartland doctors injections are 😮‍💨😮‍💨😮‍💨 (for the ones I visited)

They say you get what you pay for. It’s true 🥹 My usual clinic is with Teehee dental with Dr Lok Hui Yi (after Chinyi’s reco), so far, her injections skills are amazing. To the point I extracted all 4 wisdom tooth with her & recovered so fast. But when it comes to Root Canal treatment, she truthfully told me that she’s not a specialist, so it’s better she refer me to Dr Elyssa from Sage. (Dr Lok worked out to waive consultation at Sage) So I went.. their service, treatments to the heart of really wanting to find out my RCT problem (she waived 3D scans) are top notch man!! Working with these 2 dentists has been such a joy. Ngl, it’s a more pricey end of treatments. But Dr Lok was transparent from the start, setting my expectations that the whole RCT will cause about ~ $3000++ But you feel great, injections were BARELY painful.. I no longer felt so fearful of visiting the dentists under Dr Lok and Dr Elyssa’s hands. For those of you looking to enjoy your dental treatments, can find them!!

When it ended at night, i texted mama… I’m hungry 😭 can you order Thai food… I arrived and the food came in the next 5 mins.. I went “huh so fast?” She went “I ordered earlier for you that’s why I asked where are you just now.” (So she can estimate the timing of the food and align with my arrival - food will still be pippin hot as well) MAMA WITH ACTS OF SERVICE 😭😭😭 I wish I can marry my mum.. 😂she knows best 🥲

But the highlight of my Labour Day spent was really this…. Rushed back to church, being in the presence of God and soaking the truth 🌻 Nothing beats prioritising seeking God first as much as possible… it’s always a learning journey… I’m glad I have this House & community to hop on to ❤️ Seek first… the kingdom of God P.s. these are my own notes, I might have my own revelations / thoughts in it too Our pastors had a heart-to-heart session where they shared how they keep things together despite their busy schedules, and how they’ve remained so loving even after three decades of marriage… truly wise words. I’m grateful to be part of a church that genuinely cares, and to have someone we can look to as examples for our own lives. 🥹
