However, I'm actually grateful because this is a powerful reminder of why I built my business in the first place. - To help folks to increase their income do they don't have to feel pressured from a 1% increase in prices. - To help folks think about how they can treat this as a POSITIVE event. - To help folks realise there's little use in complaining & whining and instead, focus on what can control. Because whether we like it or not, there's no doubt that Cost of Living will continue to increase. But it's up to decide how we want to approach this - to SAVE money (defensive), or to EARN more money (proactive)? We can also choose to either whine, complain and feel bad, Or to actually find out how we can thrive or even take advantage of this. And if you truly want to live a free & fulfilled life... WHY I WAS EXCITED TO “STOP” MY VACATION IN KOREA Hey folks, Currently, I am writing this as I am in a hotel apartment in Seoul, after finishing the first leg of my vacation in Jeju… And the first thing I did after I checked in? Getting back to work. But the thing is…I actually wanted to. You see, one major thing that’s different in my life compared to years ago is I actually look forward to work! • Writing content. • Working with clients. • Meeting with my team members. • Building playbooks & systems. • (and recently…organising my first overseas private mastermind too) Note that I do all of the above not simply because i enjoy them… But because, I realise that at the end of the day, I do not feel fulfilled simply by travelling around the world. So while I am grateful for being able to recharge at places like States, London, Japan for the past 2-3 years…and that I’m actually travelling to Bangkok with my buddies & subsequently with my Taiwan till the end of January, I find that working on something meaningful & purposeful is so much more rewarding. In fact, I believe that humans weren’t just made to have “travel around the world” as their life purpose… But to actually work on a mission that fills us with joy & excitement is so much more fulfilling for our lives. And in today’s world, I believe doing this is 100% possible thanks to all the opportunities we have around us. All I did to get started on the path is by doing this: • Find something I actually enjoyed and know I can make money from • Promote & Sell what I had to offer (even for free at the beginning) to get market feedback & testimonials • Rinse & Repeat till I started charging good money for it The problem is thanks to society - many of us have limiting beliefs telling us that it’s not possible, it’s too difficult etc. But remember, as long as you have Faith & Keep Taking Action… You can’t help but succeed. Just sent my Annual Letter for my friends & loved ones earlier today. In it, I shared my reasons for choosing to officially enter my Season of No (or what some call Monk Mode) in 2024.
