When I first started my business, the part I hated the most was selling, specifically 1-1 calls.
It was so bad that when writing out the vision for my business a few years ago, the first thing I wrote down: "NO SALES CALLS!".
I'd even be secretly happy when prospects cancelled calls as it meant I could focus on content or clients instead😂
But today, not only do I enjoy 1-1 calls more than ever, I'm grateful to have generated $500K+ in sales w/o being an "expert"...because I found a "lazy" approach I actually enjoy.
And so, if you're someone who rather focus more on client success than selling all the time, here's the breakdown of what I do:

"You'll start losing your friends."
That's what I was told from many experienced people & gurus as I embarked on my entreprenuership journey.
I admit for a period of time, I thought that to be true.
I concluded since I had to spend more time in business, I'd have less time for friends, and even when we met, it'd be harder to relate with each other...and there'll be conflict due to the differences in values too.
Because of that, I assumed my friends would also want to stop hanging out with me; maybe they thought I wouldn't care, I didn't treasure the friendship as much, etc.
But a few years ago, my coach asked me 2 questions:

I turned Down a Client Last Week.
This was someone who was very keen on MI. Followed me for a while, asked questions, resonated with our values, and seemed like a great fit.

Turned Down a Client Last Week ❌
Had someone interested in joining MI last week. He’d been following me for a while, asked thoughtful questions, (seemed to) resonated with what MI was about, and seemed like a great fit.He said he wanted to sign up, asked more questions, then said he’d pay later that day.
But he never did.
Instead, he ghosted, needed multiple follow-ups, and kept making excuses.
I genuinely wanted to help him because I knew I could solve his problems. I could sense his desire and commitment to doing better. But when it came time to actually take action, he froze. Repeatedly.
And while I took longer than I should have, I eventually told him the offer was closed. At that point, it wasn’t even about money anymore.
I’m sharing this because:
1️⃣ How you do anything is how you do everything.
If someone is slow to decide, indecisive, and needs endless follow-ups, it’s usually a reflection of how they approach life.
That’s not the kind of energy I want in this community. I am holding anyone who joins MI at a much higher standard now.
2️⃣ You need standards beyond just money.
I caught myself chasing the sale instead of trusting my value and knowing the right people will come.
If you don’t set standards, you’ll end up attracting clients who drain your time, don’t keep their word, and don’t respect your expertise.
And if money is your #1 priority, you’ll eventually compromise everything else that matters.
Every day, you get to choose.
To uphold your standards even when:
✅ You feel scared or uncertain
✅ Things aren’t going your way
✅ You’re tempted to “give someone a chance” just one more time
✅ Money is tight
✅ You feel like making a compromise...
Hold your standards.
You’ll win in the long run. ✊🏽
Just passed a little over $12,000 in Monthly Recurring Revenue.
I know this is not as amazing & impressive as many other people out there...
But for someone who used to struggle with self doubt, imposter syndrome, and entertained thoughts of giving up...
Seeing this makes me feel so freaking grateful.
Truthfully speaking, I know whenever I publish a post about my financial numbers or revenue, it opens the doors for many people to judge.

"The numbers are so small, why bother sharing?"
"So many years in business & this is all you got?"
"This is too good to be true."
I get it; I used to be very skeptical of such claims myself, and I am not saying it's possible for anyone.
The journey to do this wasn't easy; not so much about learning the right thing but actually implementing what I learnt.
And while the road to $50K/month continues...
I hope this inspire some folks reading about this:
That building a Lifestyle Business while enjoying your life (& doing real good in the world) is 100% possible.
