A decent read on what's they intend to build with some nice graphics included.
Article was written before the vote. As stated earlier it has been approved.

Another one of the groups worth following that's heavily involved with telling Atlanta PD to fuck off with their Cop City.

Atlanta/South East friends should look into attending this if you have the means. If not watch the live stream.
Atlanta PD has gotten the approval to construct their brand new training facility last month, despite massive public disapproval, from the city's council. The mayor is also all about this.
This amounts to destroying hundreds of acres of greenspace in a historically nonwhite neighborhood to build what's basically nothing more then an Urban Warfare Training center for cops.

Are you bored and want to do something useful? Go find Facebook engineers online and call them pieces of shit for trying to get Facebook back up and running.
Facebook has destroyed so much of solidarity between the working class and between the oppressed. Fuck them and fuck the people who work for them.
Make these engineers feel like shit for working on Facebook. Make them understand that their decisions have consequences.
Say her name across the world! The Police took another baby from this world. They even shot 3 others. This event will never be forgotten. The police are saying they had reason to shoot. But there is never a reason to shoot an 8 year old and 3 other people. #FantaBility

Elliot L.D. Barkley, revolutionary inmate, speaking to media during the 1971 Attica Prison Uprising.
On September 9, 1971, two weeks after the killing of revolutionary prisoner George Jackson at San Quentin, about 1,000 of the Attica prison’s approximately 2,200 inmates rioted and seized control of the prison, taking 42 staff hostage.
During the following four days of negotiations, authorities agreed to 28 of the prisoners’ demands, but would not agree to demands for complete amnesty from criminal prosecution for the prison takeover or for the removal of Attica’s superintendent. By the order of state Governor Nelson Rockefeller, state police took back control of the prison. When the uprising was over, at least 43 people were dead, including ten screws and 33 inmates. (X)
