पारंपरिक bone implants में बैक्टीरियल संक्रमण और हड्डी से implant के कमजोर जुड़ाव जैसी समस्याएँ सामने आती हैं। नई तकनीक इन चुनौतियों को कम करने का प्रयास करती है।

स्वीडन 2028 से PFAS (Per- and Polyfluoroalkyl Substances) वाले उपभोक्ता उत्पादों की बिक्री, उत्पादन और आयात पर प्रतिबंध लगाने की दिशा में बढ़ रहा है।
PFAS का उपयोग नॉन-स्टिक बर्तन, खाद्य पैकेजिंग, कपड़े, जूते, कॉस्मेटिक्स और अग्निशमन फोम में किया जाता है।
इन्हें “Forever Chemicals” कहा जाता है क्योंकि ये पर्यावरण में बहुत धीरे टूटते हैं और पानी, मिट्टी, खाद्य श्रृंखला तथा मानव शरीर में जमा हो सकते हैं।
