We are all on the convoy of freedom. Even if you’re not on the road, in a car or driving a truck. However the media spin it, whatever the outcome from the convoys and protests against government overreach, it is encouraging to see more people willing to stand for freedom. Even if that stance brings conflict. Even if that stance means some people attack you. Only by walking the talk do we learn to listen to our own voice. Only by taking some form of action do we learn what action we want to take next; we live, we take action, and we learn. PS. Ignoring external authority gives you power. Pleading with external authority gives that authority power. Walking away from a system that seeks to abuse your rights might be the best move. Coming together with others who feel the same as you might be good too. Finished my day mixing in the studio today by writing a quick little ditty called The Convoy of Freedom. Maybe it needs another verse? Something about how we arrive at ‘freedom’ by living free, moment by moment, choosing to release all that binds us to fear, control or negativity. Or something about how cool big trucks are?
