@Zephial you should be able to post here now, so I'm going to go ahead and open the debate. I'd like to first discuss a passage from John 5. "18 Therefore the Judeans sought the more to kill him, because he not only had broken the sabbath, but said also that God was his Father, making himself equal with God. 19 Then answered Jesus and said unto them, Verily, verily, I say unto you, The Son can do nothing of himself, but what he seeth the Father do: for what things soever he doeth, these also doeth the Son likewise. 20 For the Father loveth the Son, and sheweth him all things that himself doeth: and he will shew him greater works than these, that ye may marvel. 21 For as the Father raiseth up the dead, and quickeneth them; even so the Son quickeneth whom he will. 22 For the Father judgeth no man, but hath committed all judgment unto the Son: 23 That all men should honour the Son, even as they honour the Father. He that honoureth not the Son honoureth not the Father which hath sent him." Here the Son describes his relationship with the Father and authority given Him by the Father; an interpersonal interaction. I'd like to note especially v.22 where Jesus says "the Father judgeth no man, but hath committed all judgment unto the Son". If the Son is his own Father as Christogenean monarchianism insists, then this verse ceases to make any sense. If the Father commits judgment to the Son and does not Himself judge, then one can only conclude that the Father and Son are distinct, as one person cannot both do something (judge) and also not do that same thing. I'd also like to draw attention to v.18 which affirms the Trinitarian doctrine of the co-equality of the Father and the Son.

According to @Zephial of @Christogeneamemes the Gospel of John is "side content" which he doesn't need to reconcile with his interpretations of the rest of Scripture. This is the caliber of exegesis you can expect from Christogenea adherents.
