Dr. Hang Chuon Naron, Minister of Education, Youth and Sport that it emphasized the significance of science and technology education as a catalyst to propel development in Cambodia and focused that university should provide the strong foundations to students, create students’ curiosity, and to promote the lifelong learning and entrepreneurship.

Invited to speak in this workshop was Ms. Ry Thany of Norea Angkor Handicrafts. The purposes of this workshop were: 1. To understand how to begin a startup in Interior Design, to gain an insight into the characteristics and values of startups, to get to know the roles of local handicrafts in Interior Design and to promote tourism

In this video, Dr. Sothy Khieng, president of CamTech, highlighted how important STEM education is for the future of Cambodia and its people. STEM, an acronym that refers to science, technology, engineering and mathematics, mainly is a field of study and a career path related to industry 4.0, digitalization, and the use of information technology. From his extensive experience across the globe from the USA, Europe and Asia, Dr. Sothy Khieng concluded that to maintain a prosperous future for Cambodia and its economic growth, Cambodia's younger generation needs to shift from low-skill careers to technology-oriented careers, in short STEM careers.

Objective of the workshop is to share fundamental knowledge on how to begin a new business. The presentation also covered a case study of a successful project. CamTech students were also encouraged to participate in the Turing Hackathone competition which is also organized by the Techo Startup Center, Ministry of Economy and Finance.

កាលពីព្រឹកថ្ងៃទី២៣ ខែមេសា ឆ្នាំ២០២២កន្លងទៅនេះ ដោយមានកិច្ចសហការជាមួយគម្រោង «ដើមឈើមួយលានដើម» របស់មូលនិធិ ខេ អឹម អេច និង គាំទ្រដោយក្រុមហ៊ុនអាយ អេស អាយគ្រុប សាកលវិទ្យាល័យខេមតិច បានរៀបចំកម្មវិធី ដាំកូនឈើក្រោមប្រធានបទ «នវានុវត្តន៍បៃតងនៅខេមតិច» នៅក្នុងទីតាំង បរិវេណសាកលវិទ្យាល័យខេមតិច។ កម្មវិធីនេះមានគោលបំណងសំខាន់បីគឺ៖ (១) រួមចំណែកការពារបរិស្ថានធម្មជាតិ ក៏ដូចជាកាត់បន្ថយ បម្រែបម្រួលអាកាសធាតុពិភពលោក (២) បណ្តុះស្មារតី ស្រឡាញ់ ថែរក្សាបរិស្ថានធម្មជាតិ និង (៣) បង្កើតភាពស្រស់ បំព្រងបៃតងនៅក្នុងសហគមន៍។ ចូលរួមនៅក្នុងកម្មវិធីនេះ រួមមាន៖ ថ្នាក់ដឹកនាំ សាស្ត្រាចារ្យ បុគ្គលិក និងនិស្សិតនៃសាកលវិទ្យាល័យខេមតិច ថ្នាក់ដឹកនាំ និងបុគ្គលិកនៃមូលនិធិ ខេ អេច អឹម ព្រមទាំងតំណាងជាន់ខ្ពស់ នៃក្រុមហ៊ុន អាយ អេស អាយ គ្រុប។ តោះ យើងនាំគ្នាដាំដើមឈើទាំងអស់គ្នា។
