Shaykh Ibn Uthaymeen رحمه الله said:
«"One person eats simply to satisfy his desire, while another eats in obedience to the command of Allah:
'Eat and drink.'
For the latter, eating becomes an act of worship, whereas for the former, it remains nothing more than a habit."»
He then mentioned the statement of some of the scholars:
«"The acts of worship of the heedless become mere habits, while the ordinary habits of those who are spiritually conscious become acts of worship."»
“Life becomes beautiful for the one who does Istighfār and thinks well of Allah.”
If the worries of life have exhausted you,
And its profound hardships have touched your soul.
And you have tasted bitterness until you wept,
And your heart cried out until it burst.
Then turn to Allah in deep longing,
And pour out your grief to the Lord of mankind.
How Can I Renew My Relationship with the Quran?
Through the following:
Complete its reading once every month.
Stand in night prayer (Qiyam) using what you have memorized.
Increase your portion of memorization and consistently review what you have previously learned.
Listen attentively and receive it with your heart.
Apply it in your life, making it your provision and your ultimate reference.
Learn its words, meanings, and secrets, for its wonders never end.
Strive against yourself every day to draw more and more from it.
Al-'Allamah 'Abdur-Rahman al-Sadi رحمه الله said:
"There is no pleasant life for those who are not obedient, no true pleasure for those who do not remember (Allāh), no comfort or peace of mind for those who are not content with Allāh's provision and satisfied, and no true bliss for those who are not of noble character and good to others."
Al-Fawākih ash-Shahiyyah, p 26
Ibn Qayyim said:
Some women used to pray extensively during the night. When one of them was asked about it, she replied “It beautifies the face, and I love for my face to be beautiful.”
-Rawdat al-muhibbin (p. 236)
Whoever consistently maintains the recitation of Sūrah al-Baqarah over long/unbroken periods will witness remarkable changes in their life; physical healing, increase in their provision, expansion in their chest and blessing in their time.
The Messenger of Allāh ﷺ said:
"...Recite Sūrah al-Baqarah, for taking hold of it is a blessing, neglecting it is a regret, and those engaged in sorcery [and deceptive practices] cannot withstand it."
Imam ibn al-Qayyim رحمه الله said:
"If there was in your heart love (for ALLAH) its effects would be visible upon your body (in your actions)."
[Al-Fawaaid pg. 110, Daar 'Aalim al-Fawaaid print, 2nd edition]
Shaykh al-Islām Ibn Taymiyyah rahimahullah said:
Wise men have said: "A person's every single breath should only be one of two: a breath spent praising their Lord, and a breath spent asking forgiveness for their sins."
Jāmī al-Masa'il (1/161)
How many times has ease followed hardship, lifting the grief from a heavy, sorrowful heart?
How many matters distress you in the morning, yet bring you joy by the falling of the night?
If circumstances ever press tightly upon you, place your trust in the One, the Singular, the Most High.
And do not despair when adversity strikes, For Allah’s subtle grace works in ways you cannot see.
What is sincere repentance?
Hasan al-Basri, may Allah have mercy on him, said:
"Sincere repentance is to hate the sin as much as you once loved it, and to seek forgiveness for it whenever you remember it."
The Messenger of Allah (peace be upon him) said:
"The most beloved of people to Allah are those who are most beneficial to people. And the most beloved deed to Allah Almighty is happiness that you bring to a fellow Muslim, or relieving him of a hardship, or paying off a debt for him, or expelling hunger from him."
— Sahih At-Targhib wa At-Tarhib

One woman says:
"Before my driver travelled back to his country, I asked him: What gift would you like for your family?"
He said: "I want a perfume like yours for my wife, ma'am..!"
She says: "I felt dizzy and everything went dark before my eyes; I never thought that my scent was lingering in his mind..!
So let anyone who thinks that the driver or the vendor has no feelings reflect and take lesson..!"
The Prophet (ﷺ) said:
"Any woman who puts on perfume and then goes out and passes by a group of people so that they may smell her fragrance is an adulteress..!"
Two loves that cannot coexist:
Love for Allah and love for sins.
Love for struggle (Jihad) and love for worldly life.
Love for sacrifice and love for money.
Love for truth and love for power/leadership.
Love for peace and love for revenge.

《 Wealth and children are [but] adornment of the worldly life. But the enduring good deeds are better to your Lord for reward and better for [one's] hope.》
Surah Al-Kahf 46
#Imām_Ibn_Al_Qayyim, may Allah have mercy on him, said:
'...To the extent that even most of the wicked and dissolute people respect Friday and its night, and they believe that whoever dares to commit sins against Allah the Almighty during it, Allah hastens his punishment and gives him no respite. This is a matter that has been firmly established among them and known through experience, due to the greatness and honor of this day with Allah, and His choice of it above all other days.'"
