• We are revoking our previous policy announcement: https://t.me/EnglishFess/561878. Frustration and disappointment is understandable when the intention is genuine concern.
• Our admins’ group will no longer have bots other than @EnglishFessBot to avoid misunderstandings caused by auto-replies system by the bots.
• Our official working hours are from 10 AM to 10 PM. If your report to @EnglishFessBot has not been replied to within that period, please feel free to contact us again through @EngFessOfficial in case your message did not come through.
• Internship application reviews will now be fully transparent without unwritten standards. Our final assessment will be shown publicly during announcements.
• We will no longer interfere with anyone’s channel content as we believe it is not our place to regulate it. We will also try to understand issues from multiple perspectives first.
• We fully support LGBTQIA+ individuals and acknowledge that marginalized communities are often overlooked. We won’t be providing space for a “neutral and safe” stance toward LGBTQIA+.
• We will provide transparency regarding our boycott list through a public channel. We will reassess and explain how the boycott system works after we have completed a full evaluation. Enggies are welcomed to provide updates or information.

I have a complaint about their boycott policy but sadly I’ve lost all the proof, but I can briefly elaborate since the policy still apply until today, despite them stating this https://t.me/EngFessRules/43. Alright, so thank you so much for being willing to hear me out. So regarding their boycott policy, they stated that the boycott should be maintained until the subject boycotted stated their stance for Palestine. However, there were inconsistencies especially for games.
Let’s take games from Hoyoverse as an example, we know that EF boycotts Genshin Impact as well prohibited all Enggies to send any menfess about it and censored all media that mentions the game. And this happened because Genshin once collaborated with McD.
But the twist is, EnglishFess still allows Zenless Zone Zero, another Hoyoverse game, who collaborated with McD as well. Moreover, Zenless Zone Zero’s collaboration with McD even impacted the gameplay as they even made an in-game event for their collaboration with McD, while Genshin did not do the same. The question is, shouldn’t they be boycotting the developer as a whole?
Also, if they’ve decided to boycott a game for their collaboration until they state their stance for Palestine, shouldn’t they do research beforehand because some games are still allowed to pass despite their collaboration with boycotted brands in their past?
Actually, my friends and I once sent a critique to their bot, yet their response was a little dismissive. Yes, they responded politely, but they didn’t give us anything that answered our questions and critique, and we were really disappointed about this manner of theirs. However, this was last year and the group had already been banned so I lost the proof of our confrontation with EnglishFess regarding the inconsistency in their boycott policy.
