PRESENTATION TIPS BY CA RAJ BADIYANI TIP#4 CONCLUSION This tip is particularly valuable in law paper. When you come across a question where the answer should be either "yes" or "no," make sure to conclude your response with a clear "yes" or "no." Even if you're unsure, don't leave the answer blank. In law, many questions start with "whether," and these types of questions require a straightforward "yes" or "no" answer. In the attached image, a student only provided the conclusion and received 1 out of 4 marks. This illustrates the importance of this tip. This in all will add 3 to 4 marks in your paper without any extra knowledge. During exams, you might encounter a couple of very challenging questions, but if the answer can be a simple "yes" or "no," make sure to write it down. It can make difference in your scores. Tip #3 - Writing All Questions. In case the ICAI sets a challenging paper, consider attempting all 6 questions. Let me share my experience from the law paper. I attempted all 6 questions. I attempted Q3 at last as I was least confident of that question, and it earned me 2.5 marks (this was my sixth question). Question 5 was my third question, and it got me 1.5 marks. The examiner gave me 2.5 marks for question 3, and question 5 was optional. This shows that attempting all questions can be beneficial, especially when facing a difficult paper. EVEN THOUGH ICAI SAYS IT CHECKS THE FIRST 4 QUESTIONS OUT OF 5 QUESTIONS, IN REALITY IT CHECKS THE BEST 4. SO ATTEMPT THE BEST 4 FIRST AND THEN ATTEMPT THE 5TH QUESTION. Do not hav confidence in audit? Last 16 days remaining  and not sure about audit. Here is the plan to clear the audit paper 1.Automated environment, audit committee and corporate governance, CGS( 20 marks)(do it properly as AC &CG is also in law) 2. NBFC  and peer review and quality review(recently amended, so highly important)- do it properly. 3. Bank ( If you haven't done it earlier then do module questions, and recent 3 rtp and mtp questions) 4. For PSU AND INSURANCE : Do module question and answers properly with recent 3 rtp and mtp. In may 23 attempt direct module question was asked. 5. Do CARO, liability of auditors and companies act do provision properly from 139 to 148. Never questions can be formed here so just glance through the question and ans of module. Bt focus on provisions. 6. For SAs, if u havent done SAs till now then directly do Q and A properly of module and recent two rtp and mtp. In may 23 attempt 2 out of 5 questions were directly from module. Also when you finish 700 series try completing audit report chapter. While you do 600 series complete Internal audit, operational audit and management audit. While completing 300 series complete module questions of chapter 2 and 3. 7. For due diligence investigation and forensic do module questions properly. Also for forensic chapter dont try to mug up the ans, instead try and understand the ans. It will help u recall better. 8. For professional ethics do all the clauses properly with number. For the remaining topic if u haven't done it properly then read 2 to 3 times the guidelines, threats etc. New questions can be easily framed in professional ethics however it can be easily answered so do clauses properly. 9.
