SFM Few Tips : Shares : If Question says Dividend will grow at 12% for first 3 years and then will start to decline linearly to 4% in the next 5 years (year 4-8), and stabilises at 4% forever. Then, to calculate Dividend, First 3 years 12% Next 5 years 4-8 will be (12-4/5 = 1.6% fall from 12% for 5 years) and Terminal year it'll be 4% i.e. For Year 4 Growth rate will be 10.6%, 5 it'll be 9% etc.. till 4% Terminal Value is always calculated in the year when Growth Rate Stabilises. Forex : Forward Contract Terminologies and the related action which the customer takes. Helps you in choosing the right rate i.e. Ask/Bid Importer enters into a forward contract with a bank to purchase $ - Importer wants $ as he wants to pay $ to other party. So it's a BUY contract and you'll take ASK rate Exporter enters into a forward contract with a bank to sell $ - Exporter sells $ as he will receive $ from other party.
