Common mistakes committed by freshers while forwarding their resume 1. No subject in the mail 2. No salutations or informal salutations if there is one 3. Simply attaching a resume with neither any content in the mail nor subject and sending the mail 4. Just reforwarding the mail sent to someone else and the mail clearly shows it is a forward 5. Glaring grammatical errors in the resume 6 Too many spelling mistakes in the resume 7. And failure to mention the source through which they came to know about the opening 8. Signature portion completely missing - no phone number and name These mistakes reflect badly on the candidature. No point blaming our education system. I still remember my middle school English classes where the teacher taught us to write formal and informal letters umpteen number of times.Problem is not with our curriculum but with the quality of students passing out. And I hope the candidates realise these glaring errors, work on those and improve their employability. If you don't sell, market and brand yourself, who will do it for you? No doubt, most surveys point out the unemployable nature of those passing out of college every year.
