✔️ Charles' SF-26 is already fitted with Carbon Industries brakes, and tomorrow Leclerc will test Carbon Industries brake discs for the first time. This is not a minor change, and it does not necessarily provide an immediate solution. 🕯 Both options obviously come with advantages and disadvantages, which mainly depend on temperature management and are influenced by external conditions. Races held in different temperature ranges place different demands on the braking system. On one hand, there is the risk of not reaching the optimal operating temperature, an issue Charles has faced primarily in Canada, unlike Lewis.
