Our Catechetical Ministry is urgently seeking volunteers to support the faith formation of our children and youth. We are looking for catechists, facilitators, administrators, a Special Needs Coordinator, and befrienders for children with special needs. This year, we are already facing a serious shortage of catechists. Two Level 7 classes are currently without assigned catechists, and we urgently need more catechists for several other levels. Because of this shortage, some Level 7 classes have had to be cancelled when a catechist was away for reservist training or was unwell. Many of our current catechists are also generously serving two or even three classes. Next year, the need will be even more urgent. At present, we have no catechists at all for Level 7 in 2027. Perhaps the Lord is calling you to this ministry. If you have ever considered serving our young people, we invite you to prayerfully take that step today. Training and guidance will be provided. Please scan the QR code to learn more about the different volunteer opportunities and how you can help. We ask you to keep our Catechetical Ministry in your prayers, and if you feel called to serve, we encourage you to respond generously.

🌟 Happy Feast of the Transfiguration! May the light of Christ transform our hearts and our homes. As we celebrate our parish feast, let us embrace this year's theme, "Encountering Jesus in the Family," and welcome Him into every moment of our lives. May our families grow in faith, unity and love, becoming living reflections of Christ's presence in the world. May God's blessings be upon you and your loved ones today and always.

As we welcome a new shepherd into our parish family, may we remember that Christ remains our true Shepherd.
