Silver coins vs generic silver As a rule of thumb,  if holding silver multiple decades or longer,  stack coins for collectibility. If planning to trade silver for another asset on a shorter-term basis,  stack bars or whatever low premium gets you the most ounces. If planning for survival-type barter situations,  then divisibility and recognizability make coins better,  preferably coins produced in or near to your nation. If purely attacking the system,  then stack bars or other low premium silver to maximize the number of ounces in your possession. Great news everybody!  If you just stop eating food and using energy,  then US inflation is only 6% year over year. Seriously though, they usually try to control inflation during wartime, so the big inflation is likely coming after the fighting subsides.
