Dollar to silver ratio is over $3k/ounce. This number takes into account all available silver and all US dollars, but doesn't account for other national currencies which also need backing. Notice that the prices for silver and gold when fully backing the USD are a 7:1 ratio. Mining ratios right now are about 8:1 silver to gold, and throughout most human history were closer to 17:1 Just something to keep in mind as we slowly get closer to an inevitable 1:1 parity.
