[Island-wide Public Testing of SG Alert] SCDF is conducting island-wide testing for the SG Alert mass emergency alert system. All Singtel users with phones that are running on the latest Apple or Google Android operating system (iOS 26.4 or OS 12, with the latest Google Play system update) will receive the SG Alert message. The alert will appear as a pop-up notification with the header ‘SG Alert’, accompanied by an alert tone and vibration pattern — bypassing devices’ “Do Not Disturb” or silent mode settings. 🚨Job App Scam 🚨 A job posting you've applied to or a recruiter contacts you and accedes to the salary you request. They schedule a call for a time you are most likely to be alone. The interview link comes 8 minutes before your meeting. The link is not a Zoom, Teams, or WebEx. Instead, you have to install the software quickly before the meeting starts, giving you no time to think carefully. The app is malicious. Do not install.
