Perhaps you’ve been struggling with public speaking, simply because you’re yet to get a clear picture of what the art is all about.
On October 12, Kings Public Speaking Club launched its activities on Saint Petersburg’s HSE campus situated at Kantemirovskaya Street. During the meeting, Kingsly Nche, founder of the club, defined, in his own words and experience, what public speaking is all about.
Breaking down the topic, the journalist and public speaking coach explained that, viewing the art as a mere day-to-day activity could go a long to deliver many a timid fellow from the fear and frustration that come with the idea of talking to various audiences, especially for the first time.

📜 On the trip students were able to discover the rich history of Novgorod and its surroundings. Touching the walls that remember Rurik and Alexander Nevsky is an absolutely incredible feeling!
🍲 Between excursions, everyone enjoyed traditional Russian cuisine.
🍁 The sunny weather and golden foliage created the perfect backdrop for a walk along the ancient streets and embankments.
❤ A warm and friendly atmosphere helped the students not just get to know each other better, but make new friends for life.

| 7 |  Our students shared their impressions after a hockey match 🏒
It was my first time visiting an arena and watching teams play in front of my eyes. On that very first visit, I went to one of the world’s biggest arenas, with its iconic architecture. 🏟️
I felt very excited from the moment I applied and even more so when we arrived. I had only read about ice hockey before; I had never been to a stadium to watch it live.
It was an absolute thrill, and I spent some unforgettable moments there. I cherish each and every goal alongside our wonderful HSE family. 🩵
Last but not least, I offer my sincere thanks to HSE for giving us the opportunity to visit one of the world’s biggest arenas and watch this beautiful game.

Thanks to this forum, I realized how many different peoples and cultures live together in Russia 🇷🇺. I especially enjoyed the first-aid workshop , where we learned how to help people in emergency situations.

On 26–27 September, our students took part in the “SFL Fest” football festival at Nova Arena. The tournament was organized by the St. Petersburg Student Football League. Although victory didn’t go to our team this time, the true HSE spirit cannot be broken! More matches and new victories lie ahead. ⚽
On 26 and 28 September, international students attended ice hockey matches at SKA Arena, invited by HSE St. Petersburg’s partner, HC Shanghai Dragons. The bright, dynamic, and memorable games gave students a wealth of emotions. The motto “Go, Dragons!” will long remain in our hearts! 🏒
