Eight persons i.e P, Q, R, S, T, M, N and O are sitting around a circular table, some are facing the centre and some are facing outside of the table and they like different places i.e Goa, Ooty, Jaipur, Manali, Delhi, Kerala, Pune, and Mumbai. All information arenot necessarily in the same order. M and T faces each other. Q sits immediate left of O. Neither S nor P like Jaipur. S does not face outside of the table. The one who like Goa faces the centre and is not immediate neighbour of T and N. The one who like Kerala sits third to the right of the one who like Goa. Immediate neighbours of T face opposite direction from each other. The one who like Mumbai sits immediate right of the one who like Pune. P does not like Manali. N and O face same direction. M sits immediate right of R. Immediate neighbours of M face opposite direction from M. The one who like Jaipur sits second to the left of M. One person sits between the one who like Jaipur and the one who like Delhi. O sits second to the left of the one who like Delhi. M does not like Delhi. O does not like Jaipur. आठ व्यक्ति अर्थात् P, Q, R, S, T, M, N और O एक वृत्ताकार मेज के चारो ओर केंद्र की ओर उन्मुख होकर बैठे हैं और कुछ मेज के केंद्र से बाहर की ओर उन्मुख हैं तथा वे अलग-अलग स्थानों को पसदं करते हैं अर्थात् गोवा, ऊंटी, जयपुर, मनाली, दिल्ली, केरल, पुणे और मुम्बई। लेकिन आवश्यक नहीं कि समान क्रम में हों। M और T एक-दूसरे की ओर उन्मुख हैं। Q, O के ठीक बायें बैठा है। न तो S न ही P जयुपर पसंद करता है। S मेज से बाहर की ओर उन्मुख नहीं है। गोवा को पसंद करने वाला व्यक्ति केंद्र की ओर उन्मुख है और T और N का एक निकटतम पड़ोसी नहीं है। केरल को पसंद करने वाला व्यक्ति उस व्यक्ति के दायें से तीसरे स्थान पर बैठा है, जो गोवा को पसंद करता है। T के निकटतम पड़ोसी एक-दूसरे की ओर उन्मुख हैं। मुम्बई को पसंद करने वाला व्यक्ति, उस व्यक्ति के ठीक दायें बैठा है, जो पुणे पसंद करता है। P मनाली को पसंद नहीं करता है। N और O समान दिशा की ओर उन्मुख हैं। M, R के ठीक दायीं ओर बैठा है। M के निकटतम पड़ोसी, M से विपरीत दिशा की ओर उन्मुख हैं। जयपुर को पसंद करने वाला व्यक्ति M के बायें से दूसरे स्थान पर बैठा है। जयपुर और दिल्ली को पसंद करने वाले व्यक्तियों के बीच एक व्यक्ति बैठा है। O, उस व्यक्ति के बाएं से दूसरे स्थान पर बैठा है, जो दिल्ली को पसंद करता है। M दिल्ली को पसंद नही करता है। O जयपुर को पसंद नहीं करता है।

Eight persons are living in a four storey building such as ground floor is numbered as 1, above it is floor 2 then top floor is numbered as 4. Each of the floor has 2 flats in it as flat-1 and flat-2. Flat-1 of floor-2 is immediately above flat-1 of floor-1 and immediately below flat-1 of floor-3 and so on. In the same way flat-2 of floor-2 is immediately above flat-2 of floor-1 and immediately below flat-2 of floor-3 and so on. Flat 1 is in West of flat 2. They like different colors. At least two floors are below the person who like Red. There is one floor gap between A who doesn’t like Black and C who likes Orange. C lives East of D who likes Green, but both doesn’t live at floor 1. E lives at flat 1 in floor 3. F who likes Yellow lives above G but not in same flat. H lives just above the floor in which the person who like Red lives. B, who likes White lives below the person who like Black. Person who like Pink lives above the person who like Purple but not in same flat. आठ व्यक्ति चार मंजिला इमारत में इस प्रकार रहते हैं कि भूतल की संख्या 1 है और इसकी ठीक ऊपरी तल की संख्या -2 है, फिर शीर्ष तल की संख्या 4 है। प्रत्येक तल पर 2 फ्लैट हैं, अर्थात् फ्लैट-1 और फ्लैट-2। तल-2 का फ्लैट-1, तल-1 के फ्लैट-1 के ठीक ऊपर और तल-3 के फ्लैट-1 के ठीक नीचे है । समान रूप से तल-2 का फ्लैट -2, तल-1 के फ्लैट-2 के ठीक ऊपर है तथा तल-3 के फ्लैट -2 के ठीक नीचे है और इसी प्रकार आगे । फ्लैट-1, फ्लैट-2 के पश्चिम में है । वे सभी अलग-अलग रंग पसंद करते हैं । लाल रंग पसंद करने वाले व्यक्ति के नीचे कम से कम दो तल हैं । A, जो काला रंग पसंद नहीं करता है और C जो नारंगी रंग पसंद करता है, उनके बीच एक तल का अंतराल है । C, D के पूर्व में रहता है, जो हरा रंग पसंद करता है, लेकिन दोनों तल-1 पर नहीं रहते हैं। E, तल-3 के फ्लैट-1 पर रहता है । F जो पीला रंग पसंद करता है, वह G के ऊपर रहता है लेकिन समान संख्या वाले फ्लैट में नहीं रहता है । H उस तल के ठीक ऊपर रहता है, जिसमें लाल रंग पसंद करने वाला व्यक्ति रहता है । B, जो सफ़ेद रंग पसंद करता है, वह उस व्यक्ति के नीचे रहता है जो काला रंग पसंद करता है । गुलाबी रंग पसंद करने वाला व्यक्ति उस व्यक्ति के ऊपर रहता है जो जामुनी रंग पसंद करता है लेकिन समान संख्या वाले फ्लैट में नहीं रहता है ।

Ten boxes of different companies are placed one above another. More than four boxes are placed between the box of the company BN and KU. Not more than three boxes are placed above P. Two boxes are placed between P and the box of the company TY. There are as many boxes are placed above Q as below R which is placed just above the box of company WS. S is placed just above the box of the company TY and just below the box of the company DS. Three boxes are placed between T which is the box of the company ZX and U which is the box of the company PO. U is not placed at bottommost position. V is placed above the box of the company BV and below the box of the company GH. W and X have the box of the company BN and KU respectively. Y is placed just above the box of the company RF. X is placed above P. अलग अलग कंपनी के दस बॉक्स को एक के ऊपर एक करके रखा जाता है। कंपनी BN और KU के बॉक्स के बीच चार से अधिक बॉक्स रखे हैं। P के ऊपर तीन से अधिक बॉक्स नहीं रखे हैं। P और कंपनी TY के बॉक्स के बीच दो बॉक्स रखे हैं। जितने बॉक्स Q के ऊपर रखे हैं उतने ही बॉक्स R के नीच रखे हैं, जो कंपनी WS के बॉक्स ठीक ऊपर रखा है। S कंपनी TY के बॉक्स के ठीक ऊपर और कंपनी DS के बॉक्स के ठीक नीचे रखे हैं। कंपनी ZX के बॉक्स T और U के बीच तीन बॉक्स रखे हैं, जो कंपनी PO का बॉक्स है। U सबसे निचले स्थान पर नहीं रखा है। V, कंपनी BV के बॉक्स के ऊपर रखा है और कंपनी GH के बॉक्स के नीचे रखा है। W और X क्रमश: कंपनी BN और KU के बॉक्स हैं। Y को कंपनी RF के ठीक ऊपर रखा है। X को P के ठीक ऊपर रखा है।
