Eight persons P, Q, R, S, T, U, V and W work in a company at different designations - General Manager (GM), Managing director (MD), Deputy General Manager (DGM), Assistant General Manager (AGM), Manager (MG), Assistant Manager (AM), Section Officer (SO), and Clerk (CL). The order of seniority is the same as given above - GM is the senior-most designation and Clerk is the junior-most designation. Each of them likes different drinks – Coffee, Tea, Milk, Orange juice, Mango shake, Sprite, Lemonade and Coconut water. All the information is not necessarily in the same order.
R is junior to the one who is designated as Manager (MG). R is just senior to the one who likes mango shake. Two designations gap between the one who likes mango shake and the one who is just junior to U. The number of designations below U is same as above the one who likes coffee. P is four designations senior to S. V is senior to P and likes tea. The one who likes tea is just senior to Q. The one who likes orange juice is senior to P. Two designations gap is between the one who likes orange juice and coconut water. The one who likes sprite is senior to T. P doesn’t like sprite. W is junior to T and senior to the one who likes lemonade.

आठ व्यक्ति- P, Q, R, S, T, U, V और W एक कंपनी में अलग-अलग पदनामों अर्थात् महाप्रबंधक (GM), प्रबंध निदेशक (MD), उप महाप्रबंधक (DGM), सहायक महाप्रबंधक (AGM) , प्रबंधक (MG), सहायक प्रबंधक (AM), अनुभाग अधिकारी (SO), और क्लर्क (CL) पर कार्य करते हैं। वरिष्ठता का क्रम उपरोक्त क्रम के समान है - GM वरिष्ठतम पदनाम है और क्लर्क कनिष्ठतम पदनाम है। उनमें से प्रत्येक को अलग-अलग पेय पदार्थ अर्थात् - कॉफी, चाय, दूध, ऑरेंज जूस, मैंगो शेक, स्प्राइट, नींबू पानी और नारियल पानी पसंद हैं। समस्त जानकारी आवश्यक रूप से इसी क्रम में नहीं है।
R, प्रबंधक (MG) के रूप में पदांकित व्यक्ति से कनिष्ठ है। R, मैंगो शेक पसंद करने वाले व्यक्ति से ठीक वरिष्ठ है। मैंगो शेक पसंद करने वाले व्यक्ति और U से ठीक कनिष्ठ व्यक्ति के बीच में दो पदनामों का अंतर है। U के नीचे पदनामों की संख्या, कॉफी पसंद करने वाले व्यक्ति के ऊपर पदनामों की संख्या के समान है। P, S से चार पदनाम वरिष्ठ है। V, P से वरिष्ठ है और चाय पसंद करता है। चाय पसंद करने वाला व्यक्ति, Q से ठीक वरिष्ठ है। ऑरेंज जूस पसंद करने वाला व्यक्ति, P से वरिष्ठ है। ऑरेंज जूस पसंद करने वाले व्यक्ति और नारियल पानी पसंद करने वाले व्यक्ति के बीच में दो पदनामों का अंतर है। स्प्राइट पसंद करने वाला व्यक्ति, T से वरिष्ठ है। P स्प्राइट पसंद नहीं करता है। W, T से कनिष्ठ है और नींबू पानी पसंद करने वाले व्यक्ति से वरिष्ठ है।

Eight persons attend the seminar in eight different months viz. January, March, April, May, June, August, October and December. They attend seminar in eight different cities i.e., Indore, Bhopal, Jaipur, Mumbai, Chennai, Pune, Raipur and Agra but not necessarily in the same order.
D attends the seminar in the month which has even numbers of days. The one who attends the seminar in Raipur attends two persons before D. Three persons attend seminar between the one who attends seminar in Indore and the one who attends seminar in Raipur. At least two persons attend seminar after E. E attends the seminar after D. E doesn’t attend the seminar in the month having even number of days. The number of persons attends the seminar after E is one less than the number of persons before the one who attends the seminar in Chennai. Two persons attend the seminar between C and the one who attends the seminar in Chennai. C attends the seminar three persons after A. The one who attends the seminar in Jaipur attend just after F. D doesn’t attend the seminar in Jaipur. The number of month gap between F and D is same as between the one who attend seminar in Chennai and Mumbai. G attends the seminar in Pune. B attends seminar before H. H attends seminar after the one who attends seminar in Agra.

D, उस महीने में सेमिनार में भाग लेता है, जिसमें दिनों की संख्या सम होती है। रायपुर में सेमिनार में भाग लेने वाला व्यक्ति, D से दो व्यक्तियों से पहले भाग लेता है। इंदौर में सेमिनार में भाग लेने वाले व्यक्ति और रायपुर में सेमिनार में भाग लेने वाले व्यक्ति के बीच में तीन व्यक्ति सेमिनार में भाग लेते हैं। E के बाद कम से कम दो व्यक्ति सेमिनार में भाग लेते हैं। E, D के बाद सेमिनार में भाग लेता है। E, उस महीने में सेमिनार में भाग नहीं लेता है, जिसमें दिनों की संख्या सम होती है। E के बाद सेमिनार में भाग लेने वाले व्यक्तियों की संख्या, चेन्नई में सेमिनार में भाग लेने वाले व्यक्ति से पहले सेमिनार में भाग लेने वाले व्यक्तियों की संख्या से एक कम है। C और चेन्नई में सेमिनार में भाग लेने वाले व्यक्ति के बीच में दो व्यक्ति सेमिनार में भाग लेते हैं। C, A से तीन व्यक्तियों के बाद सेमिनार में भाग लेता है। जयपुर में सेमिनार में भाग लेने वाला व्यक्ति, F के ठीक बाद भाग लेता है। D जयपुर में सेमिनार में भाग नहीं लेता है। F और D के बीच में महीने के अंतराल की संख्या, चेन्नई और मुंबई में सेमिनार में भाग लेने वाले व्यक्तियों के बीच महीने के अंतराल की संख्या समान है। G, पुणे में सेमिनार में भाग लेता है। B, H से पहले सेमिनार में भाग लेता है। H, आगरा में सेमिनार में भाग लेने वाले व्यक्ति के बाद सेमिनार में भाग लेता है।

A certain number of persons sit in a row facing to the north. Some of them like different colours viz. Black, Blue, Hazel and Pink but not necessarily in the same order.
The one who likes blue sits 3rd to the right of T. One person sits between R and T. The number of persons sit between R and the one who likes blue is one more than the number of persons sit to the left of R. E sits exactly between W and R. T sits right of W. The one who sits at the extreme ends likes black. L does not like black. Y and the one who likes blue are immediate neighbours. Y sits 4th to the right of the one who likes Hazel and 4th to the left of the one who likes pink. R does not like Hazel. L and the one who likes pink are immediate neighbours. U sits 3rd to the left of L.H is the only immediate neighbour of L.

Eight persons P, Q, R, S, T, A, D and E are living in a four-storey building such that ground floor is numbered as 1, above it is floor 2 then topmost floor is numbered as 4. Each of the floor has 2 flats in it as flat-1 and flat-2. Flat-1 of floor-2 is immediately above flat-1 of floor-1 and immediately below flat-1 of floor-3 and so on. In the same way flat-2 of floor-2 is immediately above flat-2 of floor-1 and immediately below flat-2 of floor-3 and so on. Flat-1 is in west of flat-2. All have different profession – Teacher, Doctor, Police, Pilot, Blogger, Content writer, Coder and Data analyst but not necessarily in the same order.
Content writer lives west of coder but not live on prime numbered floor. Two floors gap between content writer and R but not live in the same numbered flat. Teacher lives west of R. Teacher lives in the north-west of Q who is not a coder. Blogger lives north-west of Q. P lives three floors above A who is not a content writer. D lives in the north-east of doctor. S lives two floors below Data analyst. Police lives above the Data analyst’s floor. E is not a blogger.

आठ व्यक्ति P, Q, R, S, T, A, D और E एक चार तलों वाली इमारत में इस प्रकार रहते हैं कि भूतल की संख्या 1 है, इसके ऊपरी तल की संख्या 2 है और शीर्ष तल की संख्या 4 है। प्रत्येक तल पर 2 फ्लैट अर्थात् फ्लैट -1 और फ्लैट -2 हैं। तल-2 का फ्लैट-1, तल-1 के फ्लैट-1 के ठीक ऊपर और तल-3 के फ्लैट-1 के ठीक नीचे है और इसी प्रकार अन्य भी हैं। इसी प्रकार, तल-2 का फ्लैट-2, तल-1 के फ्लैट-2 के ठीक ऊपर और तल-3 के फ्लैट-2 के ठीक नीचे है और इसी प्रकार अन्य भी हैं। फ्लैट-1, फ्लैट-2 के पश्चिम में है। सभी अलग-अलग व्यवसाय में हैं अर्थात् शिक्षक, डॉक्टर, पुलिस, पायलट, ब्लॉगर, कंटेंट राइटर, कोडर और डेटा एनालिस्ट, लेकिन आवश्यक नहीं कि इसी क्रम में हों।
कंटेंट राइटर, कोडर के पश्चिम में रहता है लेकिन एक अभाज्य संख्या वाले तल पर नहीं रहता है। कंटेंट राइटर और R के बीच में दो तलों का अंतर है लेकिन वे समान संख्या वाले फ्लैट में नहीं रहते हैं। शिक्षक, R के पश्चिम में रहता है। शिक्षक, Q, जो कोडर नहीं है, के उत्तर-पश्चिम में रहता है। ब्लॉगर, Q के उत्तर-पश्चिम में रहता है। P, A, जो कंटेंट राइटर नहीं है, से तीन तल ऊपर रहता है, । D, डॉक्टर के उत्तर-पूर्व में रहता है। S, डेटा एनालिस्ट से दो तल नीचे रहता है। पुलिस, डेटा एनालिस्ट के तल के ऊपर रहती है। E ब्लॉगर नहीं है।

नौ एथलीट M, N, O, P, Q, R, S, T और U एक नौमंजिला इमारत में रहते हैं, लेकिन आवश्यक नहीं कि इसी क्रम में हो। साथ ही प्रत्येक एथलीट अलग-अलग गेम खेलता है जैसे: रग्बी, रोइंग, शूटिंग, बैडमिंटन, बीच वॉलीबॉल, बास्केटबॉल, हॉकी, आर्चरी और गोल्फ लेकिन आवश्यक नहीं कि इसी क्रम में हो। सबसे निचली मंजिल की संख्या 1 है और सबसे ऊपरी मंजिल की संख्या 9 है। नौ एथलीटों में से, चार एथलीट M, P, R और T बास्केटबॉल, आर्चरी, बीच वॉलीबॉल और बैडमिंटन, में टॉप फोर रेंकर हैं लेकिन आवश्यक नहीं कि इसी क्रम में हो। वे जब इन चार गेम्स को खेलते हैं तो शीर्ष स्थान प्राप्त करते हैं। किसी भी एथलीट को किन्हीं दो गेम्स में समान स्थान प्राप्त नहीं होता है। जब इनसे इन गेम्स में इन्हें प्राप्त स्थान के बारे में पूछा जाता है तो सभी का कथन-कथन भिन्न-भिन्न प्राप्त होता है।
Q, दूसरी मंजिल पर रहता है और शूटिंग करता है। P का उसके स्थान के बारे में कथन है कि- “मैनें उस गेम में पहला स्थान प्राप्त किया जिसे T द्वारा खेला गया। T ने बीच वॉलीबॉल में पहला स्थान प्राप्त किया। R ने आर्चरी में पहला स्थान प्राप्त किया”। T, बैडमिंटन खेलता है और एक सम-संख्या वाली मंजिल पर रहता है। M, T की मंजिल से नीचे एक सम संख्या वाली मंजिल पर रहता है। वह जो आर्चरी खेलता है, चौथी मंजिल पर रहता है। M, का स्थान के बारे में कथन है- “R ने बीच वॉलीबॉल में चौथा स्थान किया। T,को उस गेम में चौथा स्थान प्राप्त हुआ जिसे P द्वारा खेला गया। P को बास्केटबॉल में पहला स्थान प्राप्त हुआ”। वह एथलीट जो गोल्फ खेलता है तीसरी मंजिल पर रहता है। M, बास्केटबॉल नहीं खेलता है। जिन मंजिलों पर हॉकी और बैडमिंटन खेलने वाले एथलीट रहते हैं के मध्य दो मंजिलें हैं। O, रोइंग करता है। जिन मंजिलों पर O और S रहते हैं के मध्य चार मंजिलें हैं। P , U की मंजिल से ठीक ऊपर वाली मंजिल पर रहता है। जिन मंजिलों पर R और S रहते हैं के मध्य चार मंजिलें हैं। R,गोल्फ नहीं खेलता है। वह जो रग्बी खेलता है सबसे ऊपर वाली मंजिल पर रहता है। R, सबसे निचली मंजिल पर नहीं रहता है। T का स्थान के बारे में कथन है कि- “M को उस गेम में तीसरा स्थान प्राप्त हुआ जिसे उस एथलीट द्वारा खेला गया जो आठवीं मंजिल पर रहता है। मैनें बास्केटबॉल में पहला स्थान प्राप्त किया।” R का स्थान के बारे में कथन है कि- “ मैंने बैडमिंटन में पहला स्थान प्राप्त किया। T को बीच वॉलीबॉल में चौथा स्थान प्राप्त हुआ। M को बास्केटबॉल में पहला स्थान प्राप्त हुआ। P को आर्चरी में दूसरा स्थान प्राप्त हुआ।” यह ज्ञात है कि उनमें से प्रत्येक द्वारा दिया गया कथन एकांतर रूप से असत्य और सत्य है और समग्र रूप से उनके द्वारा बराबर संख्या में सत्य और असत्य कथन दिए गए।
