Part of the reason why Instagram is so toxic is because of everyone’s “sureness” about literally everything and anything. The misplaced confidence, the bravado. I couldn’t take it anymore. I get it. Drawing hard lines is appealing to people. Especially nowadays. But it gets so exhausting to see the lack of nuance in literally everything. The rigidity in thought is stifling.

Instagram is so unbelievably toxic. You don’t really know how bad it is until you’ve taken a break and returned to it. I would delete it if I didn’t have such valuable resources and connections on there.

Hey all! Quick announcement — I will be unlinking the chat from this channel shortly. I’m just not posting much here lately, haven’t felt the pull, and I wanna be able to just log off and forget about the internet for undefined periods of time without worrying about what’s happening in a chat I’m responsible for. Men don't need paternity leave because they're busy breastfeeding their new children. They need paternity leave to help their wives and other children adjust to a new baby in the home. Steven Crowder and any other conservative saying paternity leave is not only unnecessary but for "pussies" is so retarded. If you care about your family as a father you should want that stay home to help your wife and get to know your new baby. And if you care about families as a society you’ll want to give fathers the opportunity to do so.

There's a lot that can be said about each of these screenshots, but what I notice about "conservative" and "trad" spaces online is how quickly they've devolved into being dominated by these tall poppy influencers who build themselves up by cutting others down. It's been a social media trend for a while that "tradwives" fish for positive male attention (from men other than their husbands) by being cruel to other women. But it seems that that behavior has even spread to the men.

Men pretending to be women will always hate women. They hate us because they’ve fetishized us. They hate us because they can never be us. They will pretend and exude an absolute joke of femininity but the second you threaten them, they will use their manhood against you (their size, threats of violence and/or rape).

As parents it is so important for us to create a sense of emotional safety for our children. They need to feel that it is okay to approach us with concerns and feelings and we need to validate those feelings.
