| 2 | 🔸 Trump and Lebanese president discuss Israel, Hezbollah and Abraham Accords:
Lebanese President Joseph Aoun arrived at the White House and was welcomed by President Trump.
President Trump said: “The Abraham Accords were a success, and soon you will see many countries joining.”
A reporter asked: “The Lebanese Army said today that Israeli forces opened fire in proximity to Lebanese troops that were deploying to one of the pilot zones. Are you prepared to take any steps to put pressure on Israel to withdraw?”
President Trump responded: “I just heard about that. We will be looking at it”.
The reporter’s description that the Lebanese troops were deploying to a pilot zone differs from the IDF’s statement that the area entered by the Lebanese forces was not part of the pilot area.
Trump also told Aoun: “If the President wanted me to speak to Hezbollah — you know he's lived with Hezbollah for a long time — I would”.
Aoun said: “I’ve been looking forward to meeting such a great president like yourself.”
Trump replied: “See? He knows how to get to me. Now, he can have anything.”

| 3 | ❗️ IDF fires warning shots after Lebanese forces enter security zone:
IDF soldiers operating in southern Lebanon identified Lebanese Armed Forces personnel accompanied by an engineering vehicle crossing approximately 150 meters into the Security Zone near Zawtar al-Sharqiyah earlier Tuesday.
According to the IDF, the Lebanese personnel breached barriers contrary to the understandings between the parties. Israeli soldiers fired warning shots into the air only, without endangering the Lebanese forces, to distance them from the area.
The Lebanese forces withdrew, and no injuries were reported.
The IDF said the location was not part of the designated pilot area and called on the Lebanese Armed Forces to continue operating in accordance with the understandings and within agreed areas. It warned that entering other areas without prior coordination could endanger Lebanese troops.

"We’ll see what happens. So far, it hasn’t happened. It might happen, but we’ll take care of things if something like that happens.
"We’ve done that with the Houthis before, and we haven’t heard from them in a while since we did what we did. They’ve had no problem with us for a long period of time, including during this conflict.

President Trump said the United States is not preparing to withdraw and intends to strike any Iranian effort to rebuild its nuclear infrastructure.
"If we left right now, it would take Iran 20 to 25 years to rebuild. We're not finished at all. We are not leaving right now".
Trump said the U.S. would soon attack Pickaxe Mountain and added:
"We will absolutely attack the new site they are talking about. They're in this because of nuclear weapons, and they’re trying to reconstitute a nuclear site. We'll hit that site. Any site where they're even thinking about nuclear weapons, we'll hit it very, very powerfully".
Trump said Iran wants to "desperately meet," but that the U.S. has no interest in talks until Tehran is prepared to meet in a meaningful way.

| 16 | 🔸 IDF BEGINS PILOT WITHDRAWAL FROM SOUTHERN LEBANON:
The IDF began withdrawing Tuesday morning from three pilot villages, marking its first territorial pullback since the March ground invasion. Under the framework agreement, the Lebanese Armed Forces will take control of two zones, conduct “verified clearance operations” and dismantle Hezbollah infrastructure.
Lebanese Army units entered western Zawtar al-Gharbiyah in the Nabatieh district, where engineering teams began scanning streets for explosives and IDF remnants, according to Al Jadeed footage and Lebanese sources cited by N12.
Israel described the deployment as a “sovereignty test” of the Lebanese Army’s ability to prevent Hezbollah’s return while preserving Israeli freedom of action under U.S. oversight.
Secretary of State Marco Rubio said strengthening the Lebanese Army is intended to “build confidence” and eventually replace Shia militias with state security and economic prosperity. U.S. officials warned that any Hezbollah attempt to “derail, infiltrate, or re-arm” would “seriously harm” reconstruction prospects and the broader peace process.
Lebanon continues to demand a full Israeli withdrawal. Disputes remain over the supervisory mechanism and the criteria for establishing a “weapons-free area.”
President Trump is reportedly urging Prime Minister Netanyahu to finalize the withdrawal following positive engagements with Lebanese President Joseph Aoun. During Aoun’s White House visit, Trump is expected to condition further withdrawal on ending Hezbollah’s nationwide military presence, strengthening state control and cooperating with Syrian President Ahmed al-Shara.
However, both governments reportedly recognize that a “real acceleration” or definitive peace breakthrough remains frozen until after Israel’s elections scheduled for October.
Hezbollah was also warned that joining the U.S.-Iran conflict could bring “further destruction and displacement” to Dahiyya, Baalbek, Hermel and southern Lebanon. Hezbollah denounced the talks as an American-imposed concession that deepens internal divisions.

The Lebanese Army said Israeli forces opened fire near its units as they deployed in Zawtar al-Gharbiya in southern Lebanon. No injuries were reported, and the IDF has not immediately commented.
There is no verified confirmation from either side regarding the source of the fire. The Lebanese Army also acknowledged the possibility that it may have originated from Hezbollah.
Lebanese media separately reported Israeli shelling between Beit Yahoun and Barashit.

| 20 | ❌ U.S. EXPANDS SANCTIONS ON IRAN:
Treasury Secretary Scott Bessent said China has substantially reduced its purchases of Iranian oil as Washington expanded sanctions targeting Iran’s petroleum and digital-asset sectors.
The Treasury designated more than 50 individuals, entities and vessels connected to the network of Mohammad Hossein Shamkhani, son of Iranian security official Ali Shamkhani. The action brought the total sanctioned under the network to more than 200.
Authorities also froze more than $130 million held in digital wallets linked to Iran’s Central Bank, targeting sanctions-evasion channels used to fund IRGC operations.
The measures follow four consecutive days of U.S. strikes, the reimposition of a naval blockade and Iranian retaliatory attacks on shipping after Tehran began blocking transit through the Strait of Hormuz.
