Presidential Proclamations 9984, 9992, 9996, 10041, and 10189 limiting travel for foreign nationals who were physically present in certain countries within the last 14 days are still in effect.
However, as of April 8, 2021, all immigrant and K visa holders, certain exchange visitors and pilots and aircrew traveling to the United States for training or aircraft pickup, delivery, or maintenance, are excepted from these proclamations.
📢Romania Embassy Update:
As local conditions permit, after prioritizing services to U.S. citizens, we are phasing in processing of immigrant visas and some nonimmigrant visa services. We are prioritizing Immediate Relative family members of U.S. citizens, including intercountry adoptions, fiance(e)s of U.S. citizens, and certain Special Immigrant Visa applications.
📢Tunisia Embassy Update:
Our Consular Section has resumed full processing of immigrant visas, with appointments scheduled by the National Visa Center. Embassy Tunis is currently unable to approve immigrant visa cases transfers (to include DV cases) from applicants who are not Tunisian or Libyan citizens.
