It's not about making money every day.
New traders think consistency means a green day every single session. That's not realistic and chasing it leads to overtrading.
Real consistency is doing the same correct process every day, regardless of the outcome.
Same risk per trade. Same quality of setup. Same discipline with your stops. Same patience waiting for your level.
Some days that process produces winners. Some days it produces a small loss. But over weeks and months, a consistent process produces consistent results.

The first hour after a major session opens is often the trickiest.
When London or New York opens, there's a burst of volatility as orders flood in. Price can spike in one direction, take out stops, then reverse hard. Many traders get caught in these opening moves and stopped out before the real trend even begins.
My approach is patience. I let the opening volatility settle. I watch where price wants to go once the initial noise clears. Then I look for my entry.
Missing the first 15 to 30 minutes of a session costs you nothing. Getting chopped up in the opening spike costs you real money.
