The Interviewing Officer (IO) began by saying that I have a very unique name. He asked me about the meaning of my name and who had given it to me.
He then started with the CIQ (Current Information Questionnaire) from Question
1. He asked me my exact PCM marks and even verified them from my documents.Most of the interview revolved around my current job. He asked about my role, responsibilities, and how my engineering branch is relevant to my work. He also asked what my friends are currently doing.
2) Next, he asked about my father's profession, including his roles and responsibilities.
He then moved on to some basic technical questions.
3) Looking at the tube light in the room, he asked:
Which gas is used inside a tube light and why?
How does an air conditioner work?
4) He also asked a few current affairs and defence-related questions, including:
One recent national news topic.
5) What is CJP?
6) Name the two regions of PoK.
7) What is the reason behind the dispute between Pakistan and Afghanistan?
8) Questions related to the China–Taiwan issue.
9) Throughout the interview, he kept asking questions related to my PIQ (Personal Information Questionnaire).
Later, he asked about my daily routine on weekdays and weekends.
10) He also asked:
Which branch/arm of the Army would you like to join, and why?
11) If you are not selected for the Army, what are your alternative career options?
Finally, he ended the interview by asking:
