I don’t agree with this post, but as the editor of RD, I decided to post it in the interest of open debate.

Historically, there have been slightly different definitions of democracy, but now there is also this new, modern term also called "democracy," which is a completely separate and different concept from the concept of democracy that people traditionally understood. The point is that terminology unfortunately changes with the times. We need to fight against this as much as we can, though it may be futile.
Someday "nationalism" could mean something entirely different and possibly antithetical to what it means today, we’re almost there with people calling civic nationalism just “nationalism.”

I recently came across this video about companies in China selling forks that are advertised as food safe stainless steel, but they actually aren’t — non-food grade steel is toxic. This video caught my attention because I recently purchased forks from Amazon that were made in China; I didn’t know that you needed to check if they’re actually food grade stainless steel or toxic steel.
Despite the Chinese appearing civilized and high IQ on paper, It seems like every other thing made in China is fake, poor quality and extremely toxic.
This further exemplifies why White Nationalism is necessary, even if only to have sane and healthy civilization. It’s as if food safety and consumer rights are exclusively White culture. And that alone warrants White Nationalism and White Power.

There are problems with democracy certainly. But my issue with these dissident right guys is they claim that it doesn't function correctly because it doesn't function in a way they would like. Then don't participate because it doesn't function to fit their niche political ideology. Thus ensuring it doesn't function in a way that benefits them. Democracy favors those who participate. It is functioning exactly how it was designed to. Doomerism is the Achilles heel of the right

I recently came across a YouTube video of an ex-White Nationalist who ended up abandoning the Alt-Right and marrying a negro woman. He left the cause because he bought into whatever he heard in an echo chamber. Later, someone exposed some of his positions on specific issues, showing him that he didn’t have his facts straight, and he was so mortified that he left White Nationalism.

There’s too many people in the “Dissident Right” claiming that Jews invented democracy, and that democracy just means having elections and voting.
This is why people are leaving the movement. There’s too many people parroting other people’s nonsense without doing any fact checking whatsoever.

One thing I should have made more clear when I made this post. I wasn’t saying that voting doesn’t work. As far as I can see, Nationalism is a democratic movement — even if its adherents claim to be against democracy. I think we will (hopefully) see some Western countries actually being governed by Nationalist parties that won the popular vote, and with little to no bloodshed involved. I think we will see that in a few cases.
However, I think in most countries, the establishment will not give up so peacefully.
My general point was that without meaningful elections/democracy, the citizens have not much recourse beyond the physical ability to wage literal war against tyranny. But without even that, there is no recourse.

In a way, it’s ludicrous to even have any debates about democracy, because there’s no single solid definition of democracy, and there never really was. Democracy doesn’t just mean voting; people can still vote in some of the least democratic countries in the world today.
It could be argued that the Dissident Right and the wider White nationalist movement are more democratic in spirit than their anti-white ZOG-establishment opposition, because the former is always trying to appeal to truth and reason to win over the masses in order to achieve political change — that’s democracy in action; that’s White democracy.
If you genuinely oppose democracy, then using truth and reason to make your case to the masses shouldn’t matter at all, that shouldn’t be something you’re invested in. You should be more invested in trying to win over the ruling class, but that’s obviously futile because they don’t care about us, they just care about power for themselves.

Well said. So many of these dissident right people who poopoo democracy don't understand that it wasn't supposed to be a pure democracy and certainly not multicultural.

There are countless people around here who will regularly pontificate about how democracy is evil, “liberal” and degenerate. I’m open to listen to some of them if they aren’t just repeating someone else in the dissident right echo chamber. But if they don’t fully and vocally support the right to keep and bear arms, they are unequivocally advocating for our slavery, and in our case, white genocide.
If you don’t believe in ballots, you better believe in bullets.

I’m not for or against democracy in theory, but my stance is that if you don’t believe in voting, you better believe in bearing arms. The whole point of voting is that it’s supposed to be a substitute for violence and civil war. If you can’t vote your way out of a political problem and you can’t fight your way out — because you’ve been disarmed — you are just stuck being a fucked-in-the-ass serf.

In the dystopian techno-feudalist future, no one will be begging for democracy more than those who vehemently oppose it now.

There are still some vocal conservative Americans out there who think this country would be better off now had we not won our independence from Britain, as if we’d be better off under a monarchy and without a Bill of Rights.
Do I even need to continue pointing out how ridiculously stupid this sentiment is? We wouldn’t have the rights we enjoy today!
To say we’d be better off had we lost our war for independence is tantamount to saying we’d all be better off if England had remained Catholic, or if Oliver Cromwell wouldn’t have won the English Civil War on behalf of Parliament. Maybe the Norman Conquest was a mistake too!
It’s too easy to imagine we are living in the worst of all possible worlds; it’s too easy to look back into past and imagine things could have been better for us had events transpired differently — which is just wrong. I think it’s more constructive for us to be thankful for the positive things that we in fact do have as a result of outcomes in the past.

Repost from Race to the Bottom
The west is infected with FILTH and the politicians are 100% to blame

This is why anyone saying we should only care about Europe, or that Europe alone should be THE reservation for Whites is, quite frankly, setting up the White race for permanent minority status. Europe is too small with a carry capacity that is too limited for the greatest race on this planet!
