JCS 1067 — The Largest Ideological Censorship Operation in History (1 of 2) “After the Reich's defeat, the Allied Control Council issued the order JCS 1067 mandating the requisition and destruction of all kinds of Nazi [sic] literature. All publications from 1933 to 1945 in all areas, including politics, philosophy, history, science, poetry, sports and even manuals, calendars, all textbooks, folklore publications, children's stories, invaluable scientific and cultural research, and more, were destroyed by pulping.”

So according to this guy, there were no doubts at all when they were thinking about dropping the Atomic Bomb on what he calls the “Nazis”. In other words, he had no qualms about dropping the bomb on German civilians.
