સ્વામીશ્રી જાહેરસભામાં લાભ આપવા માટે ઓગસ્ટ ૨૦ના બાલ્ટીમોરથી પ્લેન દ્વારા નુવાર્ક પધાર્યા. જાહેર સભા નુવાર્કમાં પ્રેસ્બીટેરીયન ચર્ચ રાખવામાં આવેલી. સ્વામીશ્રી પધારતાં, ફટાકડા ફોડીને સ્વાગત કરવામાં આવ્યું. આ સભામાં છસોથી વધુ ભક્તો-ભાવિકોની ઉપસ્થિતિ હતી. વ્યક્તિગત સર્વેને લાભ આપી, ભોજન બાદ રાતના પોણા વાગે ન્યૂયોર્ક પહોંચ્યા. નવેમ્બર ૧ના રોજ ન્યૂયોર્કથી ન્યુજર્સી પધાર્યા. પધરામણીઓ કરતાં કરતાં હર્ષદભાઈ ગોવાણીને ત્યાં બપોરના પોણા ચાર વાગે ઠાકોરજી જમવા પધાર્યા. ફરી પધરામણી કરતાં કરતાં પિસ્કાટવે હાઈસ્કૂલમાં જાહેર સભામાં પધાર્યા. આશીર્વાદ બાદ પ્રફુલ્લભાઈ રાજાને ત્યાં ઠાકોરજી જમાડી રાતના બાર વાગ્યે ન્યૂયોર્ક ઉતારે પહોંચ્યા.

On August 20, Swamishri flew from Baltimore to Newark to bless the evening sabha. The sabha was held at the Presbyterian Church, where Swamishri was welcomed with fireworks. Over 600 devotees and well-wishers attended. After meeting each person individually, Swamishri had dinner and left for New York, where he arrived at 12:45 AM. On the morning of November 1, Swamishri left New York to come to New Jersey. While doing padhramanis, he arrived at Harshadbhai Govani’s house at 3:45 PM for lunch. He continued with padhramanis after the short break until he arrived at Piscataway High School for evening sabha. After sabha, Swamishri went to Prafulbhai Raja’s house for Thakorji’s thaal. He left there, reaching his accommodation in New York at midnight.

ઓગસ્ટ ૨૧નાં પત્રમાળામાં ન્યૂજર્સીમાં આવેલ આઈકી હેલનું વિશાળ એપાર્ટમેન્ટ કોમ્પ્લેક્સ છે. તેમાં એક જ બિલ્ડિંગમાં જ્યાં દસ વ્યક્તિઓની જગ્યાએ સોળ વ્યક્તિઓ સ્વામીશ્રી સાથે ચોથામાં મળે જવા બિલ્ડિંગમાં ગોઠવાયા અને ઉપર જવાને બદલે નીચે દસ મિનિટ સુધી ભોંયરામાં ફરાયા. સ્વામીશ્રી તો સ્થિતપ્રજ્ઞ! સ્વામીશ્રી સિવાય સર્વે આ પ્રસંગે ચિંતાતુર થઈ ગયા હતા. દિવસ દરમ્યાન તો પધરામણી થતી પરંતુ સાંજના જાહેરસભા બાદ, ભોજન ગ્રહણ કર્યા બાદ ફરી પધરામણી શરૂ થતી. બે પધરામણીઓ વચ્ચે સરેરાશ ત્રીસથી પાંત્રીસ માઈલનું અંતર રહેતું. પરંતુ સ્વામીશ્રીના મુખારવિંદ ઉપર એ જ ભક્તિનો આનંદ જોવા મળતો. રાતના બાર કે વહેલી સવાર સુધી પધરામણીઓ ચાલતી. તેનો પુરાવો આપતાં મે ૨૭, ૨૦૦૪ના એડિસન ખાતે સંતો સાથેના વાર્તાલાપમાં સ્વામીશ્રી જણાવે છે, “રાતના બાર વાગે કોકને ત્યાં જમવાનું થાય, ને પધરામણીઓ કરતાં કરતાં સવારનાં ચાર પણ વાગી જતા હતા.”

On August 21, while doing a padhramani in Newark, 16 santo and devotees filled an elevator. They pressed the button for the 14th floor - but instead of going up, the elevator went to the basement! The elevator had no exhaust fan. For 10 minutes children cried and people started to worry. Everyone was nervous except one - Pramukh Swami Maharaj - who remained equiposed throughout the entire ordeal. Padhramanis would take place all day and continue again after evening sabha. Even Swamishri’s dinner would be rushed. Despite a distance of over thirty miles between padhramanis, and them lasting all night, Swamishri would have the same smile on his face. Swamishri remembered these days during a discussion in Edison on May 27, 2004. He said, “We would have dinner at midnight at someone’s house, and before we knew it, it would be 4 am as we went from one place to another!

On this special occasion, we joyfully celebrate 10 years of Pramukh Swami Maharaj's divine Āshirvad for Edison Nutan Mandir Nirmān Vidhi. Over the past 7 years, this mandir has not only stood as a beautiful structure, but as a living center of faith where countless hearts have found peace, purpose, and connection. Through seva, satsang, and shared values, it has shaped lives and strengthened our community. As we reflect on these wonderful years, we express deep gratitude for all who contributed with dedication and devotion. May this mandir continue to inspire generations to come, guiding us on the path of faith, humility, and service. Let us celebrate this milestone with pride, and move forward with renewed commitment and unity.

નાનું સરખું એપાર્ટમેન્ટ હોય કે નાનું ઘર હોય, પ્રસાદ લેવા સહુ સાથે જ સ્વામીશ્રી બેસતા. દિલીપભાઈ ટાંકને ત્યાં તો સર્વે ભક્તોને દૂધપાક પીરસીને અનોખી સ્મૃતિ આપી. આ પધરામણીઓમાં સ્વામીશ્રીને બપોરનો આરામ પણ નહોતો મળતો. ઓગસ્ટ ૨૧ના રવિવારે જાહેરસભામાં રવિસભાનો પાયો દ્રઢ કરાવતાં સ્વામીશ્રીએ કહ્યું, “આવા અનેક રવિવાર આપણે ગુમાવ્યા છે, આજે સદુપયોગ થયો. મૃત્યુ પછી સાથે કાંઈ આવવાનું નથી. ધર્મ અને ભક્તિ કામ આવે...” પાંચસોથી વધુ ભક્તોએ આ સભાનો લાભ લીધો.

Whether a tiny apartment or a house, Swamishri would have everyone sit and eat with him. At the house of Dilipbhai Tank, Swamishri gave immeasurable happiness to the devotees by serving them dudhpāk. Swamishri’s schedule was so busy, there wasn’t time for even a moment’s rest throughout the day. On Sunday, August 21, Swamishri emphasized the importance of weekly Sunday sabha to the haribhakto. Swamishri explained, “Till now we have aimlessly wasted many Sundays. Today, our Sunday was put to good use. Nothing will come with us after death. Only dharma and bhakti will be of use.” Over five hundred haribhkato attended this sabha.

On this sacred occasion, we celebrate the divine birth anniversaries of Bhagwan Shri Swaminarayan and Bhagwan Shri Ram. May their timeless teachings inspire us to live with devotion, righteousness, humility, and selfless service—giving us all faith that God truly manifests on Earth. Let us honor their legacy by spreading love, harmony, and kindness in our communities.

ઑગસ્ટ ૧૮ના પ્રાતઃપૂજા પછી વચનામૃત સારાંગપુર-૧ નું નિરુપણ કરતાં સ્વામિશ્રી કહે, “ભગવાનની આજ્ઞા પ્રમાણે વર્તાય તો જ મન જીતાય. મનને ભગવાનની ભક્તિમાં જોડી રાખવું.” અલ્પાહાર બાદ પધરામણી – પરામસ, હોબોકન, યુનિયન સિટી અને જર્સીસિટીના ઘરોમાં, એપાર્ટમેન્ટમાં, સ્ટોરમાં – જ્યાં ભક્તો કહે ત્યાં હરિભક્તોના પુનિત ચરણારવિંદ દ્વારા ઘરને પાવન કરતાં. સ્વામિશ્રીનો ઉતારો હોબોકનમાં મહેન્દ્રભાઈ અમીનને ત્યાં હતો. પધરામણી દરમ્યાન હરિભક્તોને ઠાકોરજીનાં પૂજનનો લાભ આપતા, સઘું પૂજન સ્વીકારતા અને સમૂહમાં બેસી સ્મૃતિ પણ આપતા. સ્વામિશ્રીનો ઉતારો બેલવિલમાં હતો. ઑગસ્ટ ૨૭ના સભા બાદ સ્વામિશ્રી ઉતારે પધાર્યા. તો જમવાન ભક્ત ઘરે પહોંચ્યા ન હતા. તેથી સ્વામિશ્રીએ બગીચામાં બેસી બીજી સભા કરી અને લાભ આપ્યો.

On August 19, Swamishri did nirupan of Sarangpur 1 after his puja. He said, “Only if one follows the commands of Bhagwan can the mind be defeated. We need to keep our mind engaged in Bhagwan’s bhakti.” After breakfast, Swamishri went to Paramus, Hoboken, Union City, and Jersey City for padhramanis. He visited houses, apartments, and even devotees’ stores. Swamishri would patiently take Thakorji throughout the homes to sanctify them and fulfill everyone’s wishes. Swamishri stayed in Hoboken at the house of Mahendrabhai Amin during his visit. During padhramanis, Swamishri guided family members to do pujan of Thakorji. At this time, Swamishri stayed in Belleville, NJ. After sabha on August 21, Swamishri went back to his accommodations, but the door was locked. While waiting outside, Swamishri started another sabha with the santo!
