Depression (Part Two)
What happens once you realize you have depression?
After the confusion stage that I explained on the previous part I started reading and digging about my situation with all the means I've got in consideration of all the symptoms I had.
I actually went to people and asked what was wrong with me but you could guess how that turned out.
After realizing you have depression these things are most likely to happen
✨The question of what's wrong with me will be answered but it doesn't make the situation any better.
✨You allow yourself to be consumed in it.
✨Allowing it to consume you will make the depression even more severe which leads to suicidal thoughts and other escape plans (we'll talk about that later)
✨Asking for help will be out of the options because you think people won't understand.
And there's what happened after I realized I had depression, stay here. Let me know if you have things to add or if there's a part of experience you'd like to share.

Depression (Part One)
👉🏽A serious medical condition in which a person feels very sad, hopeless, and unimportant and often is unable to live in a normal way.
I'm going to write this as someone who has been depressed almost her whole life, yes that's a thing!
Depression is also known as the silent killer because it has the tendency to eat you slowly from time to time and makes your emotions slowly fade into oblivion until you become numb.
For almost a couple of years I didn't know what was wrong with me, I thought I was different from my friends or the people around me because there's a pain and sadness in my chest that I can't quiet tell what it really was. I hated myself for being like that because I was different.
✨ That's what you'll feel when depression starts to be upon you, you think you're different, you think you're the only one suffering and you think you're the only one with this disorder.
This is what my first experience with depression looked like without knowing I had it.
Stay here for the next parts I'll try not to make them long for you to read.

Good afternoon👋🏽💜
Was a little busy that's why I couldn't write since morning but I'll start now and segment it into about two or three parts so stay with me😊
To my saviour,
At times I find myself searching for you. Without deeply understanding it I find myself listening to a worship song and I see my inside longing for your arms to hold me where noone can and I ache for the love I know I had lost. Some days I want to call out your name...shout till the temple's curtain are torn and everything turns into ash...till all souls bow to your grace seeing how I praise you...witnessing how i speak so fond of you. I want the world to notice and be awed by how I am saved. I look into myself and I watch my soul reaching for you and I envision my comeback to be like never before. Today I fall for your grace and tomorrow when it all downs on me I disdain you and your kingdom. I didnt choose to be that. If it was in my power I would be like the chosen and live on the Green fields but I am just another wanderer on the gate of your kingdom. But know that I love you and that I believe you are the superior of all. And even in my dark days I will hold you in the spaces of my broken heart. You are there in my smile and my anger. You are there in my tears and my panick attacks. You hold me tight when I cry in the dark. You wont run from me because I am somehow abnormally different. You will love your lost sheep not because she deserves it but because you are the greatest love of them all. You will love me because you are love. Because love found a home in you. Because everything about you speaks of peace and happiness.

Proud of you for making it alive today and you'll make it out of the night too.

Sleep well💜
Life is just a progression of seasons like nature.
There's the darkest season, the cold one, the one filled with sickness and misery.
There's also that season where it's in between the dark and bright, at times you're okay and at times you're not.
And the other one is the one that's always bright, filled with hope and genuine smiles. The diversity of the seasons isn't what matters but our attitude towards it. Train your mind to see the good in every season (it's hard I know).
If you're in the bright season, train yourself to be stronger for the next season that'll be upon you.
If you're in between the dark and the bright, train yourself to hold on to the little bit of happiness you've got.
And if you're in the darkest, don't let yourself be consumed in it. Even with a hurting heart and soul hope for the best.
Sleep well!
Sincerely yours
Debbie💜
