The NUS Muslim Society (NUSMS) will be holding a Masjid Sale at Masjid Al-Istiqamah tomorrow, 23 October 2026, after Friday prayers, where we will be selling a variety of meals, drinks and kuih to raise funds for our society’s initiatives. As part of our series of masjid sales like this, we would also like to extend an opportunity for you to contribute through our Pay-It-Forward (PIF) initiative! 💚 Through PIF, you can contribute any amount towards the purchase of food and drinks from our sale. Each item covered by your contribution will then be distributed to fellow masjid-goers. The distribution is not only limited to this coming Masjid Sale but may be distributed during any of our Masjid Sales throughout the AY 26/27. Assalamualaikum everyone! 🌻 Valour has been partnering with Pertapis Children’s Home (PCH), and we’d love to share some volunteering opportunities that PCH is currently looking for support with! 🌿 1. Weekly Zikir Sessions (Open to everyone) - When: Every Thursday, after Maghrib until around 9pm - What you’ll do: Recite zikir together with the residents and help ensure that everyone can participate comfortably and smoothly. Anyone is welcome to join, so feel free to come down for these blessed sessions 🤍 If you’re interested, you can join the PCH Volunteers channel here for updates and other volunteering oppurtunities 🫧 📖 2.Iqra’ and Qur’an Tutors - Who: ARS-certified (tier 2) volunteers - Commitment: Ideally once a week, with flexible days and timings based on your availability. - What you’ll do: Support residents in learning Iqra’ and the Qur’an according to their reading levels, helping them build confidence and strengthen their Qur’anic literacy. PCH currently has a large number of residents, and with only two asatizah, additional support would make a meaningful difference in giving each child more individual attention and guidance. If you’re ARS-certified, patient, and comfortable working with children and youths with varying learning needs, this could be a meaningful way to share your knowledge and contribute! If you’re interested to be an Iqra' and Qur'an tutor, please pm either the PD/APD, Haleema (@haIeema) or Sharifah (@sharizzah) and we’ll share more information with you inshaAllah :) Feel free to share these opportunities with others who might be interested too 🥰

[External - Casa Raudha] In commemoration of International Day for the Elimination of Violence Against Women, Casa Raudha will be organising the 2nd Series of End Domestic Violence Walk with Me on 21st November at Fort Canning Park. We are honoured to share that the event will be graced by our Guest-of-Honour, Ms Jane Ittogi, Casa Raudha’s Patron. We would love to have you be a part of our walkathon. The walkathon symbolizes our collective solidarity to stop violence against women and a shared commitment towards building safer families and communities, followed by an interactive Gallery Hall tour, intended to deepen understanding about domestic violence, the survivor’s journey and ways we can help prevent violence. This campaign also supports Casa Raudha’s ongoing fundraising efforts to sustain our work with survivors and families affected by domestic violence.
