The devil killed Jesus (or so he thought), not realizing that God had planned the whole thing before the creation of the world. He thought he had the perfect plan, but in spite of all plain and clear prophesies, he missed the most important revelation; that death, his main tool, that reigned over humanity since Adam, was going to be helpless before this Perfect Man Jesus. No power in the heavens or on earth could prevent the RESURRECTION of our Lord!! It’s the fountain of all our past, present and future victories. I don’t think the devil is so dumb to think that he’d actually win this battle against God, he knows he has already lost it; all he’s toiling for is just to take down with him as many of us humans as he can. What ever he is trying to do in your lives today, stay focused, lookout for and avoid his deceptions, stand your grounds, then smile at him and tell him....”nice try devil”.
