ከመንግስት ዩኒቨርሲቲዎች የሚመረቁ ተማሪዎች በሰለጠኑባቸው ሙያዎች ብቁ መሆናቸውን ለማረጋገጥ እንዲወስዱ የሚጠበቀውን የመውጫ ፈተና ወደ ተግባር እንዲገባ ዝግጅት መደረጉን የትምህርት ሚኒስቴር አሳውቋል። የመውጫ ፈተናውን በተመለከተ የመንግስት ከፍተኛ ትምህርት ተቋማት ፕሬዝዳንቶች በተገኙበት በአዲስ አበባ ዩኒቨርስቲ ምክክር እየተደረገ ይገኛል። የመንግስት ዩኒቨርሲቲዎች የምክክር መድረክ ባዘጋጀው ውይይት የመውጫ ፈተናው አስፈላጊነት፤ የፈተናው አወጣጥና አፈታተን እንዲሁም በተያያዥ ጉዳዮች ዙሪያ ምክክር እየተደረገበት ነው። የምክክር መድረኩ ፕሬዝዳንት እና የአዲስ አበባ ዩኒቨርስቲ ፕሬዝዳንት ጣሰው ወልደሃና (ፕ/ር) የመውጫ ፈተናው የትምህርት ጥራትን ለማረጋገጥ፣ የምሩቃንን ክህሎትና እውቀት ለመፈተሽ እንዲሁም የሥራ ገበያን ለማሳደግ የሚያግዝ መሆኑን ገልጸዋል። የትምህርት ሚኒስትር ዴኤታው ሳሙኤል ክፍሌ (ዶ/ር) በበኩላቸው፤ መንግስት በመጪዎቹ አምስት ዓመታት የትምህርት ጥራትን ለማሻሻል ጠንካራ ትግበራ እና ርምጃዎችን እንደሚወስድ አንስተዋል። በቀጣይ 5 ዓመታት አዲስ የመንግስት ዩኒቨርሲቲ እንደማይኖር የገለጹት ሚኒስትር ዴኤታው፤ ይልቁንም የከፍተኛ ትምህርት ተቋማት አቅም እና ጥራት ማሻሻል ላይ በትኩረት ይሰራል ብለዋል። በሁሉም የመንግስት ዩኒቨርሲቲዎች የሚገኙ ተመራቂ ተማራዎች ፈተናዉን እንዲወስዱ በቂ ዝግጅት መደረጉን ጠቁመዋል። የመውጫ ፈተናው በእያንዳንዱ ዩኒቨርሲቲ በየሙያው እና ትምህርት ዘርፍ ተዘጋጅቶ የሚሰጥ ሲሆን ለዚህም ትግበራ ፖሊሲና ዝርዝር ማስፈፀሚያ መመሪያ መዘጋጀቱን ገልጸዋል። ©AMN
