We are acutely aware that this announcement is quite possibly the most important announcement Ludus has made in it’s short life, so with that in mind, we will take extra consideration when explaining clearly the facts that occurred today at 4:23PM UTC. Before we begin we would like to make it abundantly clear that the Ludus team had absolutely no involvement in the huge increase in sell pressure exhibited from the $LUDUS chart today. Now with that said, let’s begin: At 4:23PM UTC today, Ludus experienced a huge increase in sell pressure, likely resulting from a combination of early investors, KOL pre-allocated supply and retail panic. This wave of sell pressure had no correlation with the team, Ludus or the project. We have not touched a single $LUDUS token and/or received any fud. Now this selling behaviour is not something that is new to Ludus, and it is certainly not something that is new to the space. Ludus launched 8 days ago and for 6 of those days, has been in a downtrend encouraged by early investors/KOL’s recklessly selling at moments of breakout, stunting growth and suppressing potential. Additionally In Ludus’ short life, we have witnessed the death of multiple projects that launched around the same time as us, experiencing similar, sharp declines caused by apparent random increases in sell pressure. We believe these events have led to a mass wave of panic amongst investors, who feel as though each new launch will be met with the same fate. This is where Ludus differs. After investigating the matter extensively over the last 2 hours, we have identified that certain KOL’s were selling outside of the pre-agreed trading rules, and have thus chosen to relinquish the reminder of their allocations. Additionally, many of the early investors responsible for the suppression of our chart, have now been purged. Now whilst the actions of today were aggressive, and certainly unsettling for many of our investors, it is important to note that we will come away from this stronger. All of the factors influencing the rapid, short term decline of the $LUDUS chart have been swiftly removed, and those with no conviction now purged. Over the next few days we look to continue our relentless development, liquidity allocations, heavy buybacks and increased marketing. Additionally we will be introducing some new marketing partners, ensuring all new KOL’s are adequately vetted and given stringent sell rules with vested supply allocations. With this new marketing approach, the massive purge of reckless early investors and the relinquishing of disrespectful KOL supply, we are confident Ludus can grow from this point, reaching new heights as we continue to scale our product.
