When we make du'a and hesitate to add, “If it is not good for me, replace it with something better,” the hesitation reveals where desire has outrun tawakkul.
We trust Allah enough to give us what we want, but not yet enough to choose what should remain ours.
Ask firmly and specifically, but leave Allah’s knowledge sovereign over your preference, because submission is wanting the thing deeply without needing it to be good merely because you want it.

If you’re worried about your rizq today, remember: Allah can provide from places you never expected. Keep striving, make du’a, and trust Him. — Qur’an 65:3

﴿مَّثَلُ الَّذِينَ يُنفِقُونَ أَمْوَالَهُمْ فِي سَبِيلِ اللَّهِ كَمَثَلِ حَبَّةٍ أَنبَتَتْ سَبْعَ سَنَابِلَ فِي كُلِّ سُنبُلَةٍ مِّائَةُ حَبَّةٍ ۗ وَاللَّهُ يُضَاعِفُ لِمَن يَشَاءُ ۗ وَاللَّهُ وَاسِعٌ عَلِيمٌ﴾
[ البقرة: 261]
{ The example of those who spend their wealth in the way of Allah is like a seed [of grain] which grows seven spikes; in each spike is a hundred grains. And Allah multiplies [His reward] for whom He wills. And Allah is all-Encompassing and Knowing.}
Ya Allah guide our hearts ❤️

Strength fades. Beauty fades. Status fades.
One day, everything we chase in this dunya will be left behind — our bodies, our possessions, our names, our achievements.
Allah reminds us:
كُلُّ مَنْ عَلَيْهَا فَانٍ
“Everyone upon the earth will perish.”
— Qur’an 55:26
So don’t build your whole life around what is temporary. Build for what comes after.
May Allah make our hearts attached to Him more than to this dunya. Ameen.

A seed this small. A warning we cannot afford to ignore.
Sometimes arrogance sounds like: “Who are they to correct me?” Sometimes it means looking down on someone because of their money, appearance, or past.
In this hadith, the Prophet ﷺ explained that arrogance is rejecting the truth and looking down on people.
📖 Sahih Muslim 91a
Before we think of someone who needs this reminder, let’s sit with it ourselves.
Can I accept correction when it hurts my ego?
Can I admit I was wrong?
Do I treat people with respect when they have nothing to offer me?
Ya Allah, forgive the arrogance we recognize and help us see what we overlook. Give us hearts that accept the truth and never look down on Your creation. Ameen. 🤍
