HRs Don't Even See Your Resume Because The resumes you upload on various sites to get jobs or internships can't be seen by HRs BECAUSE YOUR RESUMES ARE NOT ATS FRIENDLY. What is ATS? An Applicant Tracking System (ATS) is software that HRs use to manage the entire recruitment process. It collects, scans, and ranks all of the applications automatically. FACT: 75% of large companies use an ATS because they receive thousands of applications every day. How ATS works? If your resume summary writes: "Highly-driven tax manager with 5+ years of financial experience in managing tax returns and affairs. Proven experience of success, employer satisfaction, and strong communication skills." ATS reads: • "Tax manager" • "5+ years of experience" • "Tax returns and affairs" • "Employer satisfaction" • "Strong communication skills" How to make RESUME compatible to ATS? >>> Pick the right resume format. The easiest format for an ATS to read is reverse-chronological. >>> Choose appropriate file type A PDF file is universal and can be read by (most) ATS. >>> Use a simple layout* Choose a common, simple font. >>> Label your sections right Make sure to list your experience and certifications under respective sections. >>> Tailor resume with keywords The system scans for these words to find the best candidate. >>> A final word of caution: Avoid images and graphs. Here are some.. 🔥ATS Resume Templates https://novoresume.com/career-blog/resume-examples https://www.jobscan.co/resume-templates https://zety.com/blog/ats-resume

TIPS TO INCREASE PRODUCTIVITY AS A PROGRAMMER Before you follow any productivity increasing tips you have to understand that productivity is not the amount of the number of hours you spent in front of a computer. Sometimes we make ourselves busy without doing anything actually productive. Being productive is when you do quality work to finish your important tasks or get closer to your goal. TIP 1- Find The Right Code Editor Code editor plays an important role in productivity of a programmer, so choosing the right/best one can help you a lot more than you can think! Now there are lot of editors on the internet how you can find the best one? it totally depends on your goals and needs, try out the different editors and check which suits your workflow. You can also customize your code editor such as setting up auto code completion, code suggestion, formatting code etc to get more productive. TIP 2 - Schedule & Prioritize Your Work Scheduling your task before the day starts can also increase your productivity because you will be clear with your work for the day, you can create a task list using any todo-apps and check off the tasks after completion. Now the best way to manage time for tasks is to prioritize your work or tasks. Write your tasks in descending order of priority, such that the most important task should come first in the list then less important then that and so on. This tip will really help you a lot! TIP 3 - Avoid Distractions Small distractions can take up a lot your time without you even realizing, You have to find a way to avoid them or atleast minimize them. Social media nowadays are the most common distractions, so make sure you check them only when you are on a break never open them while working otherwise you will waste your precious time for no reason. Use some focus apps such as forest for mobiles and freedom for desktops. TIP 4-TRACK YOUR WORKING HOURS Not much programmers likes to track their working hours, but using a time tracking app can help you solve problems related to time management, Time tracking can increase your productivity because you can actually track how much time you spent working and you will be able to find out how much time you were distracted. Or you can set a target that how much hours you will work, and this actually helps! TIP 5-TAKE REGULAR BREAKS Writing code for multiple hours in a row can really become intense and you will reach a point where you will find yourself just staring at the screen and losing focus multiple times from the problem, You should must give yourself rest for a few minutes as it will surely revive your focus, you can watch any short video or do a short walk or exercise. Now when you will go back to the same problem you will have a fresh perspective to it. I will recommend you to use the POMODORO TECHNIQUE, Learn about it on the internet it will take 1 minute to understand about it and it can really be a game change for you. TIP 6-GET PROPER SLEEP Keeping apart all the things, getting a proper sleep can also help you to become productive, You should know that a improper sleep can really hamper your productivity as well as your health to a great extent. The major reason i had included this tip in this list is: A sufficient sleep leads to better decision making, that is an extremely critical skill for programmers, since a lot of the code we write is based on making decisions and using logic.
