Want to ace Coding, DSA, Development with a good CGPA in college? This post is for you!! I have personally aced all of it in my college (Amazon Internship + Website/App Live and 8.5 CGPA) How you can do it too? (Read it till last) You have 24 hours in a day. 20 hours of the day are completely filled (College/Office+Travelling+Sleep+Using Social apps) We have 4 hours left now. Let’s give another 2 hours for college assignments/office work or some other engagements. 2 hours left. Give this 2 hours every weekday and 6 hours on weekends to learning Data Structures. These 2 hours should be deep work(No notifications, locked room) That’s 22 hours in a week. (2*5+6*2) Generally, we need to do 250 problems to get proficient in DSA. Now how many months do we need to do 250 problems? Take 250 hours for 250 problems and another 250 hours for learning new concepts. 500 hours. That’s 5.5 Months of learning Data Structures(500 hours/22 hours a week) Call it 6 months. Now, start learning Development and continue practicing DSA After 6 months, Give 14 hours to Development and 8 hours to DSA per week Divide these hours between Development and coding according to your preference. Don’t copy someone's strategies. Now, if you do it for 6-8 months more. You must have done 500 DSA problems and 1-2 live projects in some skill at the end of 12-14 months duration. Here are 2 Mistakes that students do that you must avoid: 1. Learning DSA and Development at the same time 2. Stop learning DSA after starting learning Development. Don’t do them.
