XAU/USD Analysis (H1)
Volume has been pretty low in December as always, Thus we are currently in a ranging market. I will be looking for a breakout for a clearer direction.
Fundamental analysis:
News for the week has been pretty mixed with 5 high impact news being bullish USD and 4 news bearish USD. DXY has also made a bearish pullback after weeks of strong bullish momentum.
Gameplan:
1. I will monitor our H1 resistance + BB as a pivotal zone. If price breaks above 2646, i will look for potential breakout buys upon pullback to a m5 FVG/OB.
2. I will monitor for potential sells if price breaks below our inducement level at 2624.
3.Medium risk buys at our H4 RBS at 2613.5-2605.
4. If price breaks our previous H4 structure high at 2657.5, market will likely move in a strong bullish trend where we can look for potential continuation buys.
5.However, if we do not see much volume next week due to december's ranging market, we can still look for potential scalps!
