🔴Treasury yields retreat after data hints at slowing economy
U.S. Treasury bond yields were slightly down on Friday as investors pondered the latest economic data for signs of a slowing economy.
🔹The 10-year Treasury yield was 2 basis points lower at 4.23%.
🔹The 2-year Treasury note yield was down 2 basis point at 4.709%.
Yields and prices move in opposite directions. One basis point is equivalent to 0.01%.

XAU/USD Analysis (H1)
Price is facing some resistance on our H1 TF with bearish Engulfing printing, showing sellers have stepped into the market. However, market is still bullish. I will be focusing on buys today and counter-trend scalps only if i get extra confirmations.
Gameplan for lower TF:
1. If we see a body candle close below 2357.5 we will have a bearish CHoCH on our H1 TF, i will then wait for price retrace into a m5/m15 bearish FVG or OB before looking for sells.
2.We do have a RBS and H1 FVG at 2349–2343 for potential buys continuation
3.Higher probability buys at our H1 OB at 2336-2331.5
Bitcoin, Gold, and Copper paint a coherent picture
Bitcoin was heralded as the new gold. But the “old” gold ultimately managed to move above its 2021 highs.
XAU/USD Analysis (H1)
Price has followed our analysis perfectly yesterday and push back into our previous range. Market is still ranging currently and we will continue to focus on our range scalp strategy today.
Gameplan:
1. I will be monitoring for potential sells if price breaks below and close below our previous lows at 2326.5, creating a bearish CHoCH. I will then wait for price to retrace to a bearish FVG/OB on m5 timeframe to look for entries.
2. If price break above the range and close above 2331.9, i will be looking for breakout buys to target our previous OTE level at 2339-2345 where i will be looking for medium risk sells.
3.Higher probability buys at our H4 flip zone + Liquidity at 2320-2316, since price has already created a bullish BOS and sentiment is shifted towards the bullish side with DXY rejecting the daily OB.
