Value Addition- 7 key data points related to the planet being in danger: biodiversity, climate change, global warming, desertification, planet boundary, deforestation, disasters.
For Prelims, Read about the following things mentioned in the article:
1. World Metrological Organisation
2. IPBES
3. IUCN RED LIST
4. UNCCD
5. The concept of Planet Boundary
Pro Tip: Even when you are reading for Mains, try to analyse and learn things from Prelims perspective.
For instance, while making notes for GS3 INTERNAL SECURITY, I read about Operation Sadbhavna. The same thing was asked in Prelims 2024. Even though I remembered it vaguely, I marked it correctly!
