Random Mind wandering thoughts: 'Human brain is the most wonderful organ in entire world... This was told to me by my brain' -Emo Phillips When I read this, i realised one thing about myself, which might help a few, if not all. Since childhood, i was 'very vocal' about being super independent, as in someone asking me where are you going? Or parents asking me why do you want money? Such questions just got me triggered as an attack on my liberty by holding me accountable. I escaped accountability. I expected trust without questions (still do sometimes). Even on simple matters like where did you spend pura time etc? Now I have realised that, maybe it wasn't about Liberty, I didn't like being answerable as when we answer, we think, and thus often get a reality check. It must have been a mechanism to avoid self accountability and shame. Questions like why we are wasting time, why binge eating or spending often break us out of AUTOPILOT MODE WE ARE RUNNING ON with our lives. It might involve a little pain, but this is the pain we need. In words of Mark Manson, growth is iterative process, we don't move from wrong to right, but wrong to less wrong. So my understanding of my need to not be answerable is still subject to change. Similarly, Analyse your behaviour patterns and don't be fooled by the most beautiful organ in the world... Brain. It interprets reality to fit our vision.

🚨 DAY 13: 30 DAYS ETHICS ENRICHMENT SERIES 📚 Topic: Pavlovian Experiment 📖 Meaning: The Pavlovian Experiment, also known as Classical Conditioning, was conducted by Russian psychologist Ivan Pavlov in the late 19th and early 20th centuries. It is a foundational experiment in the study of learning and behavior. 📖 Key Points: 1. The Setup: Pavlov initially studied salivation in dogs as a natural response to food. He noticed that dogs would begin to salivate when they saw food, which is a natural, unconditioned response. 2. Conditioned Stimulus: Pavlov then rang a bell (a neutral stimulus) before presenting the food. Over time, the dogs started to salivate just at the sound of the bell, even when no food was presented. 3. The Process: The dogs had learned to associate the sound of the bell (a previously neutral stimulus) with the food (an unconditioned stimulus). As a result, the bell alone became a conditioned stimulus, eliciting a conditioned response (salivation). 💡 Conclusion Pavlov's experiment demonstrated classical conditioning, where an unconditioned stimulus (food) is paired with a neutral stimulus (bell) to create a conditioned response (salivation). It showed that behaviors could be learned through association. 💬 Key Quote: "Give me a child and I'll shape him into anything you want him to be." - John B Watson 👉 Application: 1️⃣ Use this concept in questions related to persuasion and social influence. There's no need to explain it in detail in your answers. 2️⃣ In Case Studies, justify your action by citing Pavlovian Experiment. Hit ❤️ if you found this useful. 📎 Stay Updated : @upscandbeyondd

Day 42: Diagramification of your Mains Answer ✅Theme: Corporate Governance Corporate governance answers usually say "companies must be ethical" and stop there. This diagram shows how. A business decision passes through an ethical filter (transparency, accountability, fairness, responsibility, sustainability). It then gets weighed against every stakeholder (workers, consumers, investors, environment, society). Only then does it become an ethical decision that earns public trust AND sustainable profit. That last box is the point. Ethics isn't charity. It's long-term business sense. 💡Corporate governance and business ethics, drawn - GS4 Diagram Booklet, ₹399, Civil Services Compass app ✉️Follow us for more such updates
