WHY do smells bring us back to our memories? Scent information flows directly to the hippocampus, forming associative memory, and the amygdala, handling sensory memories and forming emotional memory. From there, the signal goes directly to the thalamus, another region that determines our attention and priorities. That's why we react to smells involuntarily and cannot ignore them. Sight and words have no such privileges.

Don't always say, It's very hot. Your friends will think your English is basic. Why don't you use these alternatives instead? It's scorching. It's sweltering. It's boiling. It's blazing. It's roasting. It's sizzling. It's burning up. It's roasting. It's sizzling. It's burning up.

Overnight in Muzdalifah No palaces, no luxurious buildings, no expensive beds or covers A night in which the rich and the poor are equal We sleep on the ground and our covers are a mercy from God Almighty to His servants A sleep that is unparalleled in the world. This is for those who want to consider it Because of extreme fatigue, you fall into a deep sleep It is as if on the Day of Judgment you find yourself among the dead in white shrouds, the body completely shaking due to the greatness of the situation Every matter is according to His wisdom, Glory be to God you wake up from sleep happy , collects the pebbles of the Jamarat, prepares to walk, and sets off on her journey directly after the morning prayer to the places of Mina. Oh God, grant us the ability to perform Hajj to Your Sacred House for many years and long times And everyone misses, O Lord of the worlds 🤲🤲🤲

#english_usage ⭕️try / be sure / wait and …⭕️ ❇️We often use and … instead of to after try / be sure. This is informal. 🔹Try and eat something – you’ll feel better if you do. 🔹I’ll try and phone you tomorrow morning. 🔹Be sure and ask Uncle Joe about his garden. ❇️Note also the common expression Wait and see. 🔸‘What’s for lunch?’ ‘Wait and see.’ ❇️We only use this structure with the simple base forms try / be sure / wait. It is not possible, for example, with tries, trying, was sure or waited. Compare: 🔸I try and keep a straight face when he talks, but I can’t help smiling. 🔸She tries to keep a straight face … (NOT She tries and keeps …) 🔸Try and eat something. 🔸I tried to eat something. (NOT I tried and ate something.) 🔸We waited to see what would happen. (NOT We waited and saw …)

👋Read And Record👋 If you're having trouble being productive, you need to create dopamine drops. Social media is designed to force your brain to produce dopamine, and the work you need to do creates a smaller amount. Brains work by comparison. Whatever creates the most dopamine is what you will do. So if there's a choice between work and social media, you will always choose social media. But you can get your brain to stop comparing work to social media by taking a moment to stop. Do nothing long enough for your dopamine levels to lower so that the work is more stimulating than the silence. This can take as little as 30 seconds. Most people switch from scrolling social media to working without anything in between and find it difficult to do the work. Give yourself a moment of silence, and you will find yourself much more focused when you begin.
