"Something different compared to a normal facial program" ✨
Sabrina's review names exactly what we set out to build 🥹 Facials treat your skin for an afternoon. Understanding treats it for life.
Skin types, barrier, ingredients, progress check-ins 📚 Education first, always 🤍
A month of skin truths later, here's the thread running through all of them 🧵
The client with the stinging skin. The one with the 12-product shelf. The one fighting marks without sunscreen 😔 None of them needed more products. Every turnaround started the same way: reading the skin properly, removing what was fighting it, rebuilding one layer at a time, and having someone to ask when things got confusing.
That last part matters more than people expect 🫶 Skin journeys aren't straight lines, and guessing alone is the exhausting part.
That's the job of a beauty partner. Not selling you more. Ending the guessing 🤍
The transformation we get asked about most 🤍
Larissa was dealing with active breakouts across both cheeks and chin, plus the marks they kept leaving behind 😔 The hardest part wasn't the skin, it was how much headspace it took up every single day.
There was no miracle product ✋ There was a plan: understand her skin first, calm it down, then rebuild slowly enough to know exactly what was working.
Months apart. Real skin, real journey, and it was never a straight line 🌱 That's the honest part worth sharing.

Answer: false! Skin type shifts with age, hormones, climate and season 🌦️
A client in her 30s came to us still using the routine that served her perfectly at 25 🙈 Oil-control cleanser, mattifying everything. Her skin was now flaking AND breaking out, and she couldn't understand why her trusted products had "stopped working".
What we told her: they didn't stop working. Her skin changed underneath them 💡 The oily skin of her 20s had turned combination, and her routine was treating a skin type she no longer had.
This is why we re-read skin instead of assuming 🤍 Your skin today is the only skin that matters ✨
Last quiz of the month 💤
True or false: your skin type is fixed for life 🤔
(Answer tomorrow at 8am ☀️)
Skincare trends, rapid-fire honest review 🎯
Skin cycling: actually sensible 👍 It's alternating actives with recovery nights, which is how we've always built routines.
Slugging: great for very dry or damaged barriers, a breakout risk for oily and combination skin 😬
Glass skin: a lovely goal, but it's hydration plus consistency, not a product you can add to cart 🛒
Trends come and go. The boring fundamentals never do ✨
Joan's starting routine was actually fine! Cleanse, moisturise, sunscreen 🧴
What changed through her program wasn't the foundation, it was everything built on top 🌱 choosing suitable products, testing before trying, knowing why each step exists.
"I learned things I never knew before" is the outcome we aim for with every single client 🤍
A client nearly quit her program at month two. "Nothing's changing," she told us 😔
So we opened her file and put her Day 1 photo next to her latest check-in 📸 Same spot, same light, same angle. She went quiet, then asked us to send her both 🥹
What we told her: day to day, skin changes too slowly to see. You live with your face, so you miss the shift. Month to month, the story shows up ✨
A habit worth stealing: one photo a month, same conditions, no makeup. Progress hides in plain sight 🤍
Answer: false 💸 Price tells you about packaging, marketing and brand position. The ingredient list tells you about results.
Some of the best-studied ingredients in skincare, niacinamide, glycerin, zinc oxide, are also some of the cheapest 🙌 And we've read $200 creams where the celebrated active sat right at the bottom of the list, present in traces 🙈
An expensive product CAN be excellent. It's just never excellent because it's expensive 😌
Buy the formula, not the bottle ✨
Morning quiz ☀️
True or false: the more expensive the skincare, the better it works 🤔
(Answer tonight at 9pm 💤)
Monday night, dream a little ✨
Describe your dream skin in exactly 3 words 💭

"Glowing skin" isn't shimmer, and it isn't luck ✨
Glow is light bouncing off a smooth, well-hydrated surface. That's it 💡 Even texture plus water content equals radiance.
Which means the path to glow is boring and reliable 😌 gentle exfoliation for smoothness, humectants for hydration, a moisturizer to seal it in, sunscreen to protect the progress.
Highlighter fakes it for a night. A healthy barrier does it for free, forever 🤍
Chermaine's before photo will feel familiar to anyone whose breakouts move around 🤍
Forehead one week, cheeks the next, always leaving small marks behind as souvenirs 😔 Her skin wasn't bad. It was confused, reacting to a routine that wasn't built for it.
We slowed everything down 🌱 Understood her skin first, removed what was fighting it, then rebuilt layer by layer.
Months apart, no filters. Skin that used to be reactive is now just quiet 😌 That's the real goal, skin you don't have to think about all day.

Answer: C. Months, not weeks ⏳
One of our clients had been fighting the same dark marks for two years 😩 Brightening serums, vitamin C, the works. Nothing budged.
One question solved it: "What's your sunscreen situation?" 😅 She wasn't wearing any. Every day, UV was re-darkening the exact marks she was spending money to fade. Two steps forward, two steps back.
What we told her: for marks, sunscreen isn't just prevention. It IS the treatment ☀️ Everything else is support. With SPF in place, the same serums finally started working 🎉
Tonight's quiz 💤
How long do post-acne dark marks typically take to fade with good care? 🤔
(Answer tomorrow at 8am ☀️)
A client came to us upset about her "acne scars" 😔 She'd been quoted a serious sum for treatments to fix them.
We looked closely. What she had weren't scars at all 👀
What we told her: flat dark or red marks are post-inflammatory hyperpigmentation, not scars 💡 They fade with time, sunscreen and the right brightening actives. True scars are dents or raised tissue, and those are professional-treatment territory.
Hers were marks. Very fixable, no procedures needed 🙌 Most "acne scars" we see are the same story, which is genuinely good news ✨
Quick routine audit tonight 👀
Count the products in your current routine. All of them, morning and night 🧴
Under 4? You might be missing a step that matters.
Over 8? Some of those are probably cancelling each other out 😬
Reply with your number on Instagram @befoundstudios. Brave souls can list the products too, we'll tell you what we see 🤍
Answer: false, by a wide margin 😅
To get the SPF printed on the compact, you'd need roughly 7 times the amount of foundation most people wear 😳 Nobody is wearing that much makeup.
Sunscreen first, as its own step, two finger lengths ✌️ Then makeup on top as a bonus layer, not the main defense ☀️
Quiz before bed 💤
True or false: the SPF in your foundation or cushion is enough sun protection for the day 🤔
(Answer tomorrow at 8am ☀️)
