This pic from today brought this scripture to mind ...these twin boys love to come running up and crawl into whatever space is between my lap and whatever im doing.
As fathers we must model the love and protection of our Father in heaven so when theyre grown the transition is smooth and easy to understand...but we're flawed ...
Which brings to mind the prayer of Solomon that I pray almost every day ... "Give me now wisdom and knowledge, that I may go out and come in before this people; for who can judge this Thy people that is so great?”

Afterwards I got to spend some time with this boy and tell him some stories of his Daddy Honesty & Loyalty ...then he disaapeared.
And I thought I was fine ...
As I was getting in my truck this young man came running up and handed me this wooden plaque ...he said "I Got this for my Dad for Fathers Day ...but...well...I want to have it"
And then he hugged me...and as my eyes glistened with tears i never wanted to let him go

We chopped it all up in a mason jar on the hood of his truck and covered it in honey (it needs to steep for 12 hrs)...
