Kee Avil + elisque
Kee Avil is the visionary solo project of Montreal-based musician, guitarist, and producer Vicky Mettler. She is considered one of the pioneering voices in contemporary experimental music, radically deconstructing song structures to reassemble them as dense, visceral sound art. Her music fuses raw guitar work and intimate, whispered vocals with a digital glitch aesthetic and dark electronic textures. Following her acclaimed albums *Crease* (2022) and *Spine* (2024) on the renowned avant-garde label Constellation Records, she is currently taking this radical approach even further with her latest concept album, *Vapor* (2026).
elisque is the solo and self-produced project of South African musician and artist Liesl Lindeque. The Bremen-based producer and songwriter creates intimate, melancholic avant-pop soundscapes that captivate with their complexity. In her music, she weaves fragile vocals, dense percussive layers, and subtle electronic arrangements into intense, often wistful soundscapes. With releases such as the singles “Tip of my Tongue” (2024) and her multifaceted album *Homemaker*, she combines organic songwriting with experimental electronic production. A fascinating, transcultural project at the intersection of modern indie pop and DIY sound art.

Dear all,
We are excited to invite you to take part in Mapping Fear, a participatory photography exhibition that explores how fear in public space shapes our everyday lives and influences democratic participation.
Public spaces are not experienced equally. Depending on our identity, body, background, or socialization, the same place can evoke very different feelings—freedom, belonging, uncertainty, or fear. With this exhibition, we want to make these diverse experiences visible.
OPEN CALL!
We invite you to submit photographs (other mediums are also welcome, contact us directly) that reflect your personal experience of fear (or the absence of fear) in public space. The images can document specific places, situations, traces, atmospheres, or symbolic representations of these experiences. We are interested in both documentary and artistic approaches.
Please include a short description of your work. A few sentences or bullet points are completely fine. For example, you could tell us why you chose this subject or what the place or situation means to you. This will help us and the visitors to better understand your perspective and the story behind the photo.
Exhibition dates: 16–18 October 2026
Exhibition place: Kultur im Bunker, Berliner Str. 22c, 28203 Bremen
Whether you are an experienced photographer or simply want to share a perspective from your everyday life, we warmly encourage you to participate. Photography is intended as an accessible medium through which many different voices can become visible.
Please submit your photographs by 10 September 2026 to [claimspace.collective@gmx.de]. Further exhibition details will be shared after the submission deadline.
We look forward to seeing your perspective!
Best, Georgia, Paula and Line
A short disclaimer: the exhibition space is rather humid. If you have any works that are particularly sensitive to humidity, please contact us – we will try to find a suitable solution.

++Tue, 8 September, 7 PM, Kultur im Bunker++
ONE LEG ONE EYE
is as dark and heavy as the forest during midnight, yet carried by a haunting, almost transcendental beauty. Ian Lynch, known as a founding member of the Irish experimental folk band Lankum, and George Brennan of BB84, strike out on a radically new path with One Leg One Eye: Dark Ambient, Noise, Trad, Drone, Musique concrète.
+++Crone - Bandcamp+++
BACK TO THE WOMB - PERFORMANCE
The project from Vasilisa Gorbachyova is opening the evening and explores the body's search for safety – questioning how experiences of comfort, protection, and belonging are formed, disrupted, and remembered and the very space of the Bunker itself.

IRISH TRAD SESSION
Followed by tunes, tunes, tunes from across the Gaelic-influenced musical world.

Die Jugend will keinen Krieg!
