_اَلسَّـــــلامُ عَلَــيــْكُمْ وَرَحْمَـــةُاللهِ وَبَرَكَــاتُهُ 🌸

Tawbah & Inabah
Tawbah is an essential ingredient in every stage of a servant’s journey to his Lord, and it is something we must renew all the time. It is inevitable that we are going to sin; but each time we sin, we should rush to make tawbah, so that the sins do not corrode our hearts. Ibn al-Qayyim (raḥimahullāh) writes, “ The state of tawbah is at the beginning, the middle and the end of the servant’s journey to his Creator. The servant who seeks the pleasure of Allah never abandons tawbah. He remains in the state of tawbah until his death”.
One of our key life goals and duʿā' should be to reach the level of inābah. Inābah is the stage after tawbah and it consists of repeatedly turning to Allah with love and humility; and to turn away from other than Him. Ibrāhīm (ʿalayhis-salām) was described as ‘munīb’ (11:75), a person of inābah. Allah says,
“But Paradise will be brought close to the righteous and will no longer be distant. ‘This is what you were promised for everyone who turned* *often to Allah in sincere repentance and preserved (His commands); who were in awe of the All-Mercifulwithout seeing Him; and have come with a heart which is munīb (turned in devotion toHim)” (50:31-35).
May Allah al-Tawwāb (The Acceptor of repentance) always turn to us so that we turn to Him. May He always accept our tawbah and grant us the gift of inābah.

💎Golden Advice:
✍🏻 Sheikh Muhammad bin Ghalib Al-Umari - may Allah preserve him - said:
“Seasons of goodness, such as the first ten days of Dhul-Hijjah, are not only opportunities for righteous deeds; they are also moments to remind oneself of forgiveness and to dispel the Shaytan's schemes from our hearts.
For hearts are prepared for this during these seasons, so do not let the devil overcome you in the matter of forgiveness.
Forgive,
Overlook,
Forget disputes,
Eliminate the estrangement caused by the Shaytan,
And seek the reward from Allah, the Oft-Pardoning, the Most Generous.
Your souls will find peace,
Your hearts will be content,
And you will enjoy peace of mind.”

Allah says:
Allah decrees that there are twelve months- ordained in the Book of Allah on the Day when He created the Heavens and Earth, four months of which are sacred, this is the correct calculation, So do not wrong yourselves during these months... (Surah At-Tawba: 36).

🌻 Allah Does Not Look at Your Appearance 🌻
In the last week's post, we read about the hadith emphasizes that Allah values sincerity and deeds over external appearances or financial status. Evaluating oneself and others solely based on material possessions leads to a superficial judgment lacking in spiritual depth.

Another measure could be our physical appearance and ethnic characteristics: our height, weight, age, origin, language, skin color or culture. But we have little control, if any, over the color of our skin, our birthplace and even our wealth. It is not fair or wise to evaluate people based on characteristics they have no choice or power over.

We do have control over the decisions we make, however. Choice and decisions are a much better standard by which evaluate progress and achievement in life. We control what we believe in, what we accept and what we reject. We select a purpose for our life and a code of ethics to follow.
Our actions are the result of decisions we make. We decide what to do with our time, where to spend our wealth, whether to study or not, and whether to work hard or not. We decide if we want to be honest and truthful, or not.
When we see someone in need, we decide whether to help or not. When we enter a business dealing, we decide whether to cheat or remain honest. When we are in school, we decide to spend effort to learn or to waste our talent. When we are provoked, we decide whether to respond in anger or restrain our temper. All our actions are results of our decisions.

🌙 THE FIRST TEN DAYS OF DHUL HIJJAH - SERIES 🌙
PART 4⃣-IMPORTANT
📌 What are the recommended acts of worship in these first ten days? - 2️⃣
6️⃣ Fasting on the day of Arafah: Fasting on the day of Arafah is emphasized because of what has been narrated from the Messenger (sallal-laahu-alayhi-wasallam) that the one who fasts the day of Arafah, his (minor) sins of the previous year and the year to come are forgiven by Allaah [reported by Muslim]. However, as for the one who is physically present at Arafah, it is disliked that he should fast, because the Messenger (sallal-laahu-alayhi-wasallam) stood at Arafah whilst he was not fasting.
7️⃣ Reciting Restricted takbīraat: The takbīr that is recited after the daily prayers, beginning from Fajr prayer on the day of ‘Arafah (9th Dhul-Hijjah) until ‘Asr prayer in the last day of the days of tashrīq (i.e. the 13th Dhul-Hijjah).
8️⃣ Performing the Sacrifice (Udhiyah/Qurbaan): The slaughtering of the sacrificial animal is legislated on the Day of Sacrifice (10th of Dhul-Hijjah) and the Days of Tashrīq (11th,12th and 13th)

🌙 THE FIRST TEN DAYS OF DHUL HIJJAH - SERIES 🌙
PART 3⃣
📌 What are the recommended acts of worship in these first ten days?- 1⃣
The acts of worship performed in these Blessed days can be categorized into 2 categories.
A. The Muslims performing the Pilgrimage.
B. The Muslims not performing the Pilgrimage.
📌 The Muslims going for Hajj have to perform a set of rites and rituals during all the days of Hajj.
➡️ Here we discuss the deeds recommended for the Muslims who are not performing the Hajj.
1⃣ The Takbeer, Tahleel, Tasbeeh and Tahmeed due to what has been reported in the Hadeeth of Ibn Umar (radiyallaahu-anhu) that: ‘’Increase in Tahleel, Takbeer and Tahmeed in it (i.e. during these days). Imaam Al-Bukhaari (rahimahullaah) said: Ibn Umar and Abu Hurairah (radiyallaahu-anhumaa) used to go to the market place during the first days of Dhul-Hijja whilst uttering the Takbeer and the people also used to do so alongside them.
2️⃣ Salaah: Give more emphasis and concern to the obligatory prayers and increase in optional prayers, because the prayer is amongst the greatest means of seeking nearness to Allaah.
3️⃣ Fasting: fasting is included amongst the righteous deeds. Imaam Nawawi (rahimahullaah) said about fasting the first nine days of Dhul-Hijja is strongly recommended.
4️⃣ Sadaqah: As is mentioned by Ibn Hajr (rahimahullaah) in Al-Fath: What is apparent is that the reason the first ten days of Dhul Hijjah are distinguished (with excellence) is because of what it gathers of the main foundational acts of worship, and they are: Salaah, Fasting, Charity and Hajj, which are not found in other than them.)
6️⃣ Seeking Knowledge: Seeking religious knowledge such as the Names of Allah (سبحانه وتعالى) and
the Qur’an are among the best worships because it is a type of remembrance. The virtue of seeking knowledge is the reward of hajj and as .)سبحانه وتعالى( if one is in the struggle for the sake of Allah
