🌙✨ Laylat al-Qadr & The Last 10 Nights ✨🌙
━━━━━━━━━━━━━━━━━━━
Dismayed by the evil and immorality around him, he finds himself drifting away from his kinsmen, wishing more and more to be alone. Ascending the mountains around his town, he retreats to a small cave.
From here, he is still able to see the House of Allah, built by his grandfather, the imām of tawḥīd: Ibrāhīm (ʿalayhis-salām). He takes food along with him, and spends several days in this cave in isolation: reflecting, pondering, and worshipping.
🌌 And then one night, everything changes.
The stillness and silence of the night is interrupted by one word:
📖 “Read!”
The greatest of men – unbeknown to him at the time – has just experienced his first encounter with the greatest of all angels. It marks the beginning of Allah’s greatest gift to mankind: His very own words.
Words of eternal guidance, instructing man how to live and prosper. A blueprint to attain eternal bliss.
🌍 This night will change the entire course of history. The world will never be the same again.
✨ More than a thousand years later, we commemorate this incredible night. It is the mother of all nights, a night of blessings and forgiveness, a night of closeness and intimacy with one’s Creator.
🤍 From His deep love and generosity, Allah al-Akram (The Most Generous) named this night for us (‘Laylat al-Qadr’), and revealed a sūrah dedicated to it.
This is so that we do not ever forget the greatness of this Night, the greatness of this gift (the Qur’ān), the greatness of the angel (Jibrīl) responsible for its transmission, the greatness of the man (Muḥammad ﷺ) upon whose heart the book was revealed, and ultimately the greatness of the Greatest:
🌟 Allah, Magnificent and Exalted is He!
━━━━━━━━━━━━━━━━━━━
🌙 May Allah allow us to witness Laylat al-Qadr and make us among the forgiven. Āmīn. 🤲✨

🌙✨ RAMADAN & QIYĀM ✨🌙
━━━━━━━━━━━━━━━
📖 Allah’s Words About the People of the Night
━━━━━━━━━━━━━━━
Allah (subḥānahū wa taʿālā) says:
“Is one who worships devoutly during the hours of the night, prostrating and standing, fearing the Hereafter and hoping for the mercy of his Lord [like one who does not]? Say: Are those who know equal to those who do not know? Only people of understanding take heed.”
📖 (Qur’an 39:9)
🌌 This āyah paints a powerful image:
A servant standing alone at night — in sujūd and qiyām — fearing the Ākhirah and hoping for Allah’s mercy.
━━━━━━━━━━━━━━━
🕌 The Revival of the Night in Ramadan
━━━━━━━━━━━━━━━
ʿAlī ibn Abī Ṭālib (raḍiy Allāhu ʿanhu) once went out on the first night of Ramadan. The lamps were shining and the Book of Allah was being recited in the masājid.
He said:
✨ “May Allah illuminate your grave O ʿUmar ibn al-Khaṭṭāb, just as you illuminated the masājid of Allah with the Qur’an.”
A testimony to the revival of congregational night prayer.
━━━━━━━━━━━━━━━
🌙 What is Qiyām?
━━━━━━━━━━━━━━━
Qiyām, Tahajjud, and Tarāwīḥ refer to night prayer in Ramadan.
🕌 Tarāwīḥ – prayed in congregation in the masjid
🌌 Qiyām / Tahajjud – prayed privately, especially in the last third of the night
In Ramadan, strive for both:
Pray tarāwīḥ in the masjid.
Pray qiyām at home in solitude.
━━━━━━━━━━━━━━━
🤍 The Sweetness of the Night
━━━━━━━━━━━━━━━
Qiyām is one of the greatest acts of worship.
It is:
🌟 A precious provision for the journey to Allah
💎 A source of spiritual sweetness
🤲 A moment of intimacy with your Creator
One of life’s greatest joys is crying to your Lord in sajdah when you are closest to Him.
━━━━━━━━━━━━━━━
🌿 Make It a Lifelong Habit
━━━━━━━━━━━━━━━
Develop qiyām in Ramadan — and carry it throughout the year.
The wife of Abū Muḥammad Ḥabīb (raḥimahullāh) would say:
“The night has gone. Ahead of us lies a long journey, and the provisions are little. The caravans of the righteous have sped ahead of us, whilst we remain behind.”
⏳ Time is passing… and our journey is long.
━━━━━━━━━━━━━━━
🎁 The Reward of Qiyām
━━━━━━━━━━━━━━━
🏅 1. Status of the Ṣiddīqīn & Martyrs
The Prophet ﷺ said that the one who establishes prayer, zakāh, fasting, and qiyām in Ramadan is:
✨ “From the ṣiddīqīn and martyrs.”
📚 (Ibn Ḥibbān)
🔑 2. Forgiveness of Previous Sins
The Messenger of Allah ﷺ said:
“Whoever stands in prayer at night in Ramadan with īmān and hoping for reward, his previous sins will be forgiven.”
📚 (Bukhārī)
Key: Sincerity + belief.
🕌 3. Reward of the Entire Night
The Prophet ﷺ said:
“Whoever performs qiyām with the imām until he finishes, Allah will record for him the qiyām of the entire night.”
📚 (Nasā’ī)
✨ Stay until the imām completes.
⚖️ 4. Intercession on the Day of Judgement
The Prophet ﷺ said:
“Fasting and the Qur’an will intercede for the servant…”
📚 (Aḥmad)
📖 The Qur’an you stood with.
🌙 The nights you sacrificed sleep.
🤍 They will speak for you.
━━━━━━━━━━━━━━━
🌙 Final Reflection
━━━━━━━━━━━━━━━
Ramadan is not only about fasting by day.
It is about:
🌌 Standing at night
🤲 Whispering duʿā in sajdah
💔 Crying for forgiveness
🌿 Building habits that last beyond Ramadan
May Allah make us from the people of qiyām.
May He grant us the sweetness of standing before Him.
May our nights illuminate our graves.
Āmeen 🤍✨

🌙 CREATING YOUR PERSONAL DUʿĀ’ LIST FOR RAMADAN 🌙
Ramadan is the month of duʿā’. It is the month in which Allah opens the doors of mercy, multiplies rewards, and frees people from the Hellfire. It is the month in which hearts soften and tears flow.
Yet many of us enter Ramadan without clarity about what we are asking Allah for.
If you truly believe Allah can give you anything why not prepare your requests carefully? 🤍
Just as we plan our goals for Ramadan, we should also plan our duʿā’.
━━━━━━━━━━━━━━━
✨ WHY YOU NEED A DUʿĀ’ LIST
━━━━━━━━━━━━━━━
💟 During Ramadan:
💜 Your heart is softer.
🩷 Your duʿā’ at ifṭār is accepted.
💖 Laylatul Qadr is better than 1000 months.
💗 The gates of Jannah are open.
❤️ But emotions fluctuate. Some nights you feel focused. Other nights you feel distracted.
💟 A written duʿā’ list keeps you intentional.
💗 It turns random duʿā’ into purposeful conversation with Allah.
━━━━━━━━━━━━━━━
📖 STEP 1: START WITH THE HEREAFTER
━━━━━━━━━━━━━━━
Before dunya, begin with ākhirah.
Ask for:
• Forgiveness for all sins (major and minor)
• A clean heart
• Protection from Hellfire
• Entry into Jannah without accountability
• The highest level of Jannah (Al-Firdaws)
• The ability to see Allah
These are the eternal goals.
━━━━━━━━━━━━━━━
💎 STEP 2: DUʿĀ’ FOR YOUR HEART
━━━━━━━━━━━━━━━
Ramadan is about transformation.
Ask Allah to:
• Increase your īmān
• Remove pride, envy, anger
• Give you khushūʿ in ṣalāh
• Make Qur’an beloved to you
• Make you consistent after Ramadan
This is long-term spiritual growth.
━━━━━━━━━━━━━━━
🤲 STEP 3: DUʿĀ’ FOR FAMILY & LOVED ONES
━━━━━━━━━━━━━━━
Include:
• Parents’ forgiveness and elevation
• Righteous spouse (or barakah in your marriage)
• Protection and guidance for children
• Healing for sick relatives
• Unity and love in the family
Duʿā’ for others brings angels making duʿā’ for you too.
━━━━━━━━━━━━━━━
🌍 STEP 4: DUʿĀ’ FOR THE UMMAH
━━━━━━━━━━━━━━━
Don’t limit your duʿā’ to yourself.
Pray for:
• Oppressed Muslims
• Unity of the Ummah
• Scholars and leaders
• Revival of Islam
Ramadan expands your heart beyond yourself.
━━━━━━━━━━━━━━━
🌿 STEP 5: PERSONAL & DUNYA NEEDS
━━━━━━━━━━━━━━━
Allah loves when you ask Him for everything — even small matters.
Ask for:
• Halāl rizq
• Success in studies/work
• Emotional healing
• Protection from anxiety
• Good health
• Clarity in decisions
Nothing is too small for Allah.
━━━━━━━━━━━━━━━
🌌 STEP 6: USE THE BEST TIMES
━━━━━━━━━━━━━━━
Use your duʿā’ list especially:
• Before ifṭār
• In sujūd
• In the last third of the night
• On Laylatul Qadr
• After obligatory prayers
Repeat your duʿā’ consistently. Don’t rush.
━━━━━━━━━━━━━━━
🕊 MAKE IT PERSONAL
━━━━━━━━━━━━━━━
Write it in a notebook or notes app.
Divide it into sections:
• Ākhirah
• Heart
• Family
• Ummah
• Personal
Keep adding throughout Ramadan.
Your duʿā’ list is a reflection of your priorities.
━━━━━━━━━━━━━━━
🌙 FINAL REMINDER
━━━━━━━━━━━━━━━
The righteous used to make duʿā’ for six months to reach Ramadan and six months after that for acceptance.
Don’t let Ramadan pass with vague wishes.
Be specific.
Be hopeful.
Be certain.
🤲 O Allah, grant us hearts that ask You with certainty and tongues that remember You constantly. Accept from us in this blessed month and make us among those freed from the Hellfire.
Ameen 🤍✨

✨⭐ Ramadan – The Month of the Qur’an ⭐💫
"Ramaḍān is the month in which the Qur’ān was revealed – a guidance for mankind, and clear proofs of the guidance, and the criterion (between right and wrong)."
🔖(Qur'an 2:185)
Ramadan is not just the month of fasting; it is the month of the Qur'an." It was in this sacred month that Allah (ʿazza wa jall) sent down His final revelation, a book of guidance, healing, and mercy for humanity.
The Prophet ﷺ would dedicate his nights in Ramadan to reviewing the Qur’an with Jibrīl (ʿalayhis-salām). This teaches us the immense significance of connecting with the Qur’an in this blessed time.
Let’s make Ramadan a time to strengthen our bond with the Qur’an by reciting, reflecting, and living by its message.
May Allah make us among the people of the Qur’an. Ameen!

🌙 Salawat Reminder 🌙
“Whoever sends blessings upon me once, Allah will send blessings upon him tenfold.”
— Prophet Muhammad (peace be upon him) [Sahih Muslim]
Sending Salawat upon the Prophet Muhammad (ﷺ) is a simple yet powerful way to earn rewards and draw closer to Allah. Let’s make it a habit to remember and honor the Prophet (ﷺ) through prayer and love.

How to Recite Durood:
💫 Say
— [Sahih Muslim]

• Allah sends His blessings upon you
• The Prophet (PBUH) will intercede for you on the Day of Judgment
