🌙 Salawat Reminder 🌙 “Whoever sends blessings upon me once, Allah will send blessings upon him tenfold.” — Prophet Muhammad (peace be upon him) [Sahih Muslim] Sending Salawat upon the Prophet Muhammad (ﷺ) is a simple yet powerful way to earn rewards and draw closer to Allah. Let’s make it a habit to remember and honor the Prophet (ﷺ) through prayer and love. ✨ Why Send Salawat? It is reported that the Prophet (ﷺ) said: “Increase your supplications for me on the night and day of Friday.” — [Sunan Al-Bayhaqi] Sending Salawat is a means of intercession on the Day of Judgment, bringing peace to your heart and blessings into your life. 2. A Muslim has been blessed with a powerful weapon that is always at his disposal. No matter how great or small his need or desire may be, this weapon is always available. Rasulullah (sallallahu ‘alaihi wasallam) said, “Should I not show you something that will save you from your enemies and increase your sustenance? Make du‘aa to Allah day and night, for indeed, du‘aa is the weapon of a believer.” (Abu Ya’laa – Majma‘uz Zawaa-id #17153) The pious worshipper in this incident understood the power of this weapon and placed his complete trust in Allah Ta‘ala. Thus, his du‘aa was readily accepted. Du‘aa should always be our first resort, not our last. (SOURCE: USWATUL MUSLIMAH)

*The Price of Presumption* A pious man once entered a masjid to perform salaah, where he noticed two people: a devout worshipper engrossed in du‘aa and a trader seated nearby. He heard the worshipper supplicating to Allah Ta‘ala, “O my Master! O my Lord! Today I desire such-and-such a dish and such-and-such a sweet from You.” The trader also heard the du‘aa. Instead of thinking well of the worshipper, he became suspicious and said to himself, “By Allah! Had he (simply) asked me, I would have given it to him. But he is trying to trick me and is only making a display so that I will give him something. By Allah! I will not give him anything.” After completing his du‘aa, the worshipper lay down in a corner of the masjid and fell asleep. Just then, a man entered carrying a covered container of food. He looked to his right and left until he noticed the worshipper sleeping. He woke him up and placed the container before him, while the trader watched the entire scene unfold. When the worshipper uncovered the container, he found exactly the dishes and sweets he had desired and asked Allah Ta‘ala for. He ate until he was satisfied, covered the container once again and returned it to its owner. Unable to contain his curiosity, the trader approached the man who had brought the food and asked, “I ask you in the name of Allah, did you know this man before today?” “No, by Allah,” he replied. “I have never seen him before.” He then explained that he earned a living as a porter. For an entire year he wanted to feed his family this particular food, but he was never able to afford it. Earlier that day, after carrying a load for someone, he was paid two mithqaals of gold. He bought meat and the other ingredients, took them home and his wife prepared the meal. Thereafter, sleep overtook him and he saw Rasulullah (sallallahu ‘alaihi wasallam) in a dream. Rasulullah (sallallahu ‘alaihi wasallam) said to him, “Today, one of the friends of Allah has come to you. He is in the masjid, and desires what your wife has prepared. Take it to him so that he may eat to his fill. Allah will place barakah in what remains, and I will be your guarantor for Jannah.” When he awoke, he brought the food to the masjid. The trader then said, “I heard him asking Allah for this (very food).” He then asked the porter how much he had spent on preparing the meal. “One mithqaal,” the man replied. The trader asked him to accept ten mithqaals from him and allow him to share in the promised reward. The porter however refused. The trader increased his offer to twenty mithqaals, then fifty, and finally one hundred mithqaals. Yet each time, the porter declined. Finally, he said, “By Allah! I will not sell anything that Rasulullah (sallallahu ‘alaihi wasallam) has guaranteed me, even if I were offered the entire world. If you had a share in the reward of fulfilling the desire of this friend of Allah, you would have attained it before me. But Allah chooses whom He wishes.” Realising what he had lost through his suspicion and cynical thinking, the trader left the masjid filled with regret. (Hadaa-iqul Awliyaa – Ibnul Mulaqqin vol. 1, pg. 510) *Lessons:* 1. A believer should always think good of others and avoid hastily judging their intentions. Allah Ta‘ala warns, “O you who believe! Avoid much suspicion. Indeed, some suspicion is a sin.” (Surah Hujuraat v12) Suspicion and cynical thinking can deprive a person of immense rewards and often lead him to sin. The trader assumed the worst about the worshipper’s du‘aa and withheld his generosity, only to realise that he had lost an opportunity that no amount of wealth could recover. Sadly, it has become common for people to question the sincerity behind the good deeds of others while readily assuming the best about their own intentions, whereas the opposite ought to be the case.

🌙 بِسْمِ ٱللَّٰهِ ٱلرَّحْمَٰنِ ٱلرَّحِيمِ 🌙 📖 QURAN SERIES Surah Āl-'Imrān | Ayahs 21–30 (3:21) Indeed, those who deny Allah’s signs, kill the prophets unjustly, and kill people who stand up for justice—give them good news of a painful punishment. (3:22) They are the ones whose deeds are wasted in this world and the Hereafter. And they will have no helpers. (3:23) Have you not seen those who were given a portion of the Scriptures? Yet when they are invited to the Book of Allah to settle their disputes, some of them turn away heedlessly. (3:24) This is because they say, “The Fire will not touch us except for a few days.” They have been deceived in their faith by their wishful lying. (3:25) But how ˹horrible˺ will it be when We gather them together on the Day about which there is no doubt—when every soul will be paid in full for what it has done, and none will be wronged! (3:26) Say, ˹O Prophet,˺ “O Allah! Lord over all authorities! You give authority to whoever You please and remove it from who You please; You honour whoever You please and disgrace who You please—all good is in Your Hands. Surely You ˹alone˺ are Most Capable of everything. (3:27) You cause the night to pass into the day and the day into the night. You bring forth the living from the dead and the dead from the living. And You provide for whoever You will without limit.” (3:28) Believers should not take disbelievers as guardians instead of the believers—and whoever does so will have nothing to hope for from Allah—unless it is a precaution against their tyranny. And Allah warns you about Himself. And to Allah is the final return. (3:29) Say, ˹O Prophet,˺ “Whether you conceal what is in your hearts or reveal it, it is known to Allah. For He knows whatever is in the heavens and whatever is on the earth. And Allah is Most Capable of everything.” (3:30) ˹Watch for˺ the Day when every soul will be presented with whatever good it has done. And it will wish that its misdeeds were far off. And Allah warns you about Himself. And Allah is Ever Gracious to ˹His˺ servants.

🌙 بِسْمِ ٱللَّٰهِ ٱلرَّحْمَٰنِ ٱلرَّحِيمِ 🌙 📖 QURAN SERIES Surah Āl-'Imrān | Ayahs 11–20 ✨ Exact Translation (Dr. Mustafa Khattab – The Clear Quran) ✨ (3:11) Their fate will be like that of the people of Pharaoh and those before them—they all rejected Our signs, so Allah seized them for their sins. And Allah is severe in punishment. (3:12) ˹O Prophet!˺ Tell the disbelievers, “Soon you will be overpowered and driven to Hell—what an evil place to rest!” (3:13) Indeed, there was a sign for you in the two armies that met in battle—one fighting for the cause of Allah and the other in denial. The believers saw their enemy twice their number. But Allah supports with His victory whoever He wills. Surely in this is a lesson for people of insight. (3:14) The enjoyment of ˹worldly˺ desires—women, children, treasures of gold and silver, fine horses, cattle, and fertile land—has been made appealing to people. These are the pleasures of this worldly life, but with Allah is the finest destination. (3:15) Say, ˹O Prophet,˺ “Shall I inform you of what is better than ˹all of˺ this? Those mindful ˹of Allah˺ will have Gardens with their Lord under which rivers flow, to stay there forever, and pure spouses, along with Allah’s pleasure.” And Allah is All-Seeing of ˹His˺ servants, (3:16) who pray, “Our Lord! We have believed, so forgive our sins and protect us from the torment of the Fire.” (3:17) ˹It is they˺ who are patient, sincere, obedient, and charitable, and who pray for forgiveness before dawn. (3:18) Allah ˹Himself˺ is a Witness that there is no god ˹worthy of worship˺ except Him—and so are the angels and people of knowledge. He is the Maintainer of justice. There is no god ˹worthy of worship˺ except Him—the Almighty, All-Wise. (3:19) Certainly, Allah’s only Way is Islam. Those who were given the Scripture did not dispute ˹among themselves˺ out of mutual envy until knowledge came to them. Whoever denies Allah’s signs, then surely Allah is swift in reckoning. (3:20) So if they argue with you ˹O Prophet˺, say, “I have submitted myself to Allah, and so have my followers.” And ask those who were given the Scripture and the illiterate ˹people˺, “Have you submitted yourselves ˹to Allah˺?” If they submit, they will be ˹rightly˺ guided. But if they turn away, then your duty is only to deliver ˹the message˺. And Allah is All-Seeing of ˹His˺ servants.
