What are some of the ways you can prepare in case there is massive currency upheaval and the controlled demolition of the dollar actually does happen? (sure looks like it) Obviously hoarding cash isn't going to do you a lot of good, but having gold and silver on hand would be much safer. For myself, I'm working on having as much food as I can that I produce on my own and then in storage so that if I see the kind of hellish food riot videos I've been seeing coming out of China I don't have to trade a FEMA camp or a vaccination for a way to feed my family. I think making sure you have at least enough that you never have to ask for a handout and thereby potentially give up your autonomy to a "benevolent" authority is the most important thing. I don't think it's gonna be a full-on Holodomor but it doesn't hurt to stock up on must have trade items like butane lighters, candles, antibiotics, fuel, batteries, ammo and of course food. Bags of rice and beans and oats etc are cheap (for now) and keep for years.
