"Woman" (singular) is pronounced "WUH-muhn", with the "o" like the "oo" in "book" or "look", while "women" (plural) is pronounced "WIM-in" or "WIM-uhn", with the "o" sounding like the "i" in "sit" or "women". The key difference is that the vowel sound in the first syllable changes from a relaxed "uh" to a short "i" sound when going from singular to plural.

The dad should have never given up that ball.
It was his son’s birthday too. The kid ended up getting a bunch of gifts and an autographed bat which is cool I guess but his dad being a man and standing up to the longhouse for him would have meant so much more. All contained in the single symbol of the home run ball.
